Oxygen James is starting to think is he?
Remarkable achivement on an empty head, and using terms as you did "Remain gob-piece" is sticking the same label on yourself, so don't do it, we already have enough no brain trolls hanging around here with no useul thoughts to offer.
I am starting to think! OldGroaner has confirmed it! I live! Darling - pass me the smelling salts!

What a situation! on the basis of a marginal vote by the clueless, the Government of incompetents is falling all over itself, they are every bit as useless as the Trolls we get on here.

Brexit: gained by deceit ruined by conceit.
The only one who stands to gain is Vladimir Putin.
'The only one who stands to gain is Putin'. Darn your stupidity is growing! Quite remarkable.

Leave the man alone James. Just because he called you a parasite does not mean you should not be nice to him.

Yes.

Good point.

Though one I will ignore.

If it was as Woosh suggested, a 3 way, that means 34% could be a winning vote... I dont trust them to organise a 2 stage...
I suggested to have two questions:

1. Do you want the UK to leave the European Union? Yes/No
2. If you answered Yes to the question above, do you want your government to ratify the proposed treaty? Yes/No

Not voting two times.

James - strictly speaking the man only inferred you were a parasite. He did not actually call you one.

True.

I still don't like him.

No. Well that is understandable seeing as he is an old Groaner by his own admission. I don't suppose many people like the man. Probably why he spends so much time on this thread. Nobody else to talk to. Bless.

Group hug anybody?

Corbyn couldn't win a vote to open up the bar at a whorehouse.
Well, he won the vote to be elected party leader in 2015.

When challenged by Owen Smith, he again won the second vote to be party leader with a landslide 59% of the party.

Then he won the 2016 Leadership election with an increased 61% majority.

At the 2017 general election, Labour under Corbyn's leadership again finished as the second-largest party in parliament, but increased their share of the popular vote to 40%, resulting in a gain of 32 seats, and a hung parliament. Labour's 9.6% vote swing was its largest since 1945.

And what other party leader in modern times has had huge bodies of the public literally singing in praise of them?

And why is Theresa May too scared of him and Labour to call a general election to solve the present impasse?

According to his link, 65% of Labour voters voted to remain in the last referendum
https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/articles-reports/2016/06/27/how-britain-voted.

Last week The Times reported that the number was 78%.

Either way, the vast majority of Labour voters voted to remain in the last referendum.

And were they members? Lifelong voters? Floating voters? People who voted Labour once?

It doesn't add up. My constituency stat does though....

Also and what will be shown come the next election is a lot of Labour MPs will find themselves deselected for going against the majority who voted them in in the first place ( note majority ) after they had voted for Brexit.

Clue it will be a lot. Not 78% lol!!! But a lot.

Tories will be turfed out too. Nicky and Anna are already looking for new constituencies.

Of course they aren't funny for a Leaver, showing as they do that he could win.

Remember, I said he would win a GE if the Tory party split into two since their vote would be divided.
.
Not funny has nothing to do with being a Leaver...... have you seen the man?!^%!$@^%!$?????

Do you really want that shambles to represent this country?!

Seriously?

How anybody could think of such a thing is utterly beyond me.

Could, not necessarily would. Depends who won.

If Corbyn, the Brexit with customs union that he favours would get rid of the backstop and move us into the trade talks. The EU is open to that.

If May hanging on to power, she'd probably still be stubbornly repeating her red lines and we'd get nowhere.

If a fresh Tory leader, it's anyones guess what could happen.

Yes, for five years before the swing back.

As I've posted before, I want him to renationalise rail and water and stem the harm that the Tories have been doing in enriching the wealthy and destabilising society.

Balance is essential in our first past the post system where compromise is so often impossible. Swinging back and forth between left and right provides that balance, not ideal but the best possible without proportional representation.

Fair enough. It's a free country and you're within your rights to have an opinion.

I don't share it - but that's how we work things around here.
