So now apparently all Airline Pilots, Air traffic control, the Airport Authorites and the police are Remainers?
Perhaps I was unduly generous when I called you an idiot.
You're not so bright sometimes now are you. That was NOT the logical deduction from what I said. The logical deduction was that Remoaners see problems everywhere.

Give it time.

Thats the problem ,who would replace May.....Boris,Grease-Smug,Gove,Raab.....all contenders looking after their own interest.
Rudd seems to be a genuine lady ,the ERG would hate her-who cares!!
KudosDave
Oh and she just so happens to agree with your position around all this! So - well strike me down with a feather - she is 'genuine'! Amazing!! I am utterly amazed at how you came to that conclusion!

'Cape Coloured' caused a lot of offence in South Africa,it has become 'mixed race'.
I don't doubt it. Wait 20 years and 'race' will be offensive so they'll invent another nondescript term - which wait another 20 years the same thing will happen. Humans huh? Funny creatures.

Most of the UK airlines fly UK-EU-UK,Easy jet have some EU domestic routes-which is why they set up Easyjet-EU based in Austria. Ryanair is ok because its Irish,RYR has a lot of EU-EU flights.
Vueling do a lot of EU-EU flights but they are owned by British Airways but through the old Iberia.
I dont know any UK airlines that do domestic EU flights.
It should not really be a problem.
This is according to my son,a Ryanair captain.
KudosDave
Ryanair are in the process of registering aircraft on the U.K. G-xxxx register so they can obtain a U.K. AOC. That could allow them to fly UK domestic roots should there be any monkey business by the EU after Brexit day.

Finally a senior member of the leave campaign says his piece
Putin tells May that Brexit is the will of the people
Vladimir Putin has said the UK should not hold a second referendum on Brexit, insisting Theresa May must “fulfil the will of the people”.

Offering public support that the embattled British prime minister may rather do without, Putin said he “understood” May’s position in “fighting for this Brexit”.
“The referendum was held,” the Russian president said from Moscow during his annual press conference, which is broadcast on national television. “What can she do? She has to fulfil the will of the people expressed in the referendum.”
Britons may see some irony in a lesson on democracy from a fourth-term president who has co-opted or crushed any substantial opposition in his home country. In a statement, David Milliband, the former foreign secretary who has backed a second referendum, called Putin’s remarks “an insult to the United Kingdom that he should be lecturing us on our democratic process.”
Russia is seen as a possible beneficiary of the UK’s exit from the EU, and a prominent financial backer of the leave campaign, Arron Banks, met Russian embassy officials repeatedly during the run-up to the referendum in June 2016.
In a nod to recent accusations of election meddling, Putin coyly suggested he was hesitant to give advice on Brexit “lest they accuse us once again of something”.

After all he paid enough for it so he has a perfect right to insist on his prize

Not as old a Jesus, but old enough to remember the black and white minstrel show on the black and white telly ...not coloured telly, and to have an elder sister who collected the Robinson Golliwog badges from jars of marmalade.
Can we not just put this topic to rest. My advice was given in good faith, and is that unless one has the appearance commonly associated with people from Galway or the Shires, it might be a good idea to carry identifying documentation, like utility bills, if one does not have a passport.
Ha yes. I remember those programmes too. And Alf Garnet - till death us do part - steptoe and son. What times. Though in other ways they were terrible - remember the motorway service stations - what dumps! And the violence on the streets - way way worse than now.

What the hell has being a Remainer got to do with a drone getting eaten by a jet engine. Oxygen James you really have lost it ,if you really think that sending up a jet that might suck in a drone is ok...

KudosDave
No. I am saying my guess is one of those jet engines could chew up and spit out a small drone without causing it any trouble. If they are designed to be able to deal with 5 large seagulls at one time - then what's the problem with a drone or two.

Of course - I could be wrong. It has been known. Ask my girlfriend she has a list.

Under the disaster of a no deal Brexit, .. I would expect there to be checking starting by 14 Feb. . It would take that length of time to see and respond . If there is no evidence of the UK side renaging on the current free travel, free trade ,then the honeymoon might last longer, but the first shipment of dodgy US or Argentine beef, and all bets are off. Think how long it took the East German border to collapse.
A physical infrastructure actually exists on the main Belfast Dublin road, with disused laybyes and huts. Likewise for railway traffic. So there are no requirement for compulsory purchase orders.
Classic Remoaner thinking - they see nothing but problems everywhere they look.

The term coloured seems to have it root in apartheid, going back to the days when signs were displayed saying no coloureds,
I have a different take on this from those early days. Many English people seemed to think saying someone was black was somehow wrong, thinking coloured was less insensitive. There didn't seem to be much reaction at first, but later on, terms like Black Power and Black is Beautiful coming into use were black people saying they were proud of being black and wanted to be known as what they were. Hence their objection to being called coloured.

been offended by the term blackboard?
Schools and offices now have whiteboards. As a white person I'm not sure whether I should start complaining about that? Or should I consult the BSA?

I'm not aware of any birds which contain metal parts and lithium batteries, although I did have some suspicions regarding a very inexpensive turkey we had for Christmas dinner some years ago.

Do you happen to know what type of drone is being used at Gatwick?

Anyone for a `Peoples vote\2nd Ref.`??!!! :D

Petition
Leave the EU without a deal in March 2019.

We are wasting Billions of pounds of taxpayers money trying to negotiate in a short space of time. Leaving the EU in March 2019 will allow the UK good time to negotiate more efficiently. The EU will be more eager to accept a deal on our terms having lost a major partner.

STOP BREXIT

It's so desperately simple. The Government's standard response to these kinds of petitions is "The British people voted to leave the EU and the government respect that decision". BUT, the government themselves DO NOT KNOW the outcome of that decision, so how can they possibly respect it???

I’m not certain that your complaint would be well received, in fact it would probably be ignored. White males over 40 don’t count and can be ignored. :)
