Actually yours.
I ve been saying for months you and Tom have done nothing but insult, patronise and put down. Many others now saying same but you just dismiss them in same manner. You and Tom are the Troll's. Fact.
You rarely post without some insult or put down.
Personally I don't have a problem with 'trolls'. Because who is to decide who is the 'troll'? I'm all for complete free speech. Say what you like. In any way you like it. If people like what you're saying they'll respond - if not you'll get ignored. If ALL you ever do is troll then sooner or later people just ignore you because you're boring them.

Personally I see nothing wrong with going 'off-topic' a bit. It adds flavour and spice and makes a thread more interesting.
I see something wrong with any poster who does nothing other than contribute off-topic nonsense to a thread; like you!

If you have nothing positive to offer, perhaps because you know that 'Brexit' will be disastrous for the British people, why don't you just say nothing?

Confirmation bias it is called in psychological circles. It's where you pick the facts to support whatever argument/position you're taking.

Like flat-earth believers (they actually exist) - can support their argument with 'facts'. We all do it. Why? Because there are too many 'facts' to consider and we're never sure which ones are true.

So we tend towards instinctively picking a position on a subject (eg Brexit) - and from then on we cherry pick the facts to suit that position.

Watch Prime-ministers QT anytime you like - politicians are masters at this.
Good post. At least you and I can see we all do it.

But you have done it to tune of 2000 posts.

But what you are really saying is if you don't agree with me.... Dont post. Which is the absolute perfect definition of a bigot. You.

Well, she has returned from Europe with the metaphorical tattoos on the cheeks of her arse that I mentioned a while back (Farage & Rees Mogg) I can only conclude that she is one of those people who derives sexual gratification from humiliation. There can be no other plausible explanation for her behaviour.

I have just read the BBC's report of May's wasteful misuse of public funds by revisiting Brussels with nothing to offer the 27, simply hoping that, by some miracle, they might just have had second thoughts since the last meeting.

Halfway down the page, there is an 'Analysis', as the BBC euphemistically refers to spin, delivered by none less than their very own propaganda editor, Laura Kuenssberg.

The BBC really needs to have its funding removed - the taxpayer should not have to put up with such blatant propaganda in the first place, let alone pay for it!

In an attempt to move on...
There has been a re emergence of the ancient Hansiatic League in Europe. Predominantly the Northern countries have aligned and put in place certain objectives. Their reasoning, they see with the loss of UK as a stabilising influence the combination of France/Germany/Luxembourg will lead to much greater federalisation. Apparently against the wishes of some members.
And, yet another worrying aspect from Spain. Its the first time since 1982 the extreme right has had representation. A fairly new extreme right party (Vox) has shocked many with its success. (taken 11% of vote)
Macron has severe problems. The EU is far from calm with or without Brexit.

Much as I am no supporter of May, I, m not sure what you want from her or present situation. Yes, she is barely competent but at side of competition that makes her eminently the best.
Not much point continually knocking with no alternative offered. Yes, her deal might be crap, might be OK too. What are you wanting???

Funny, I always imagined her to have a secret closet at N°10 filled with latex and whips etc...

My post was not 'intended to disrupt the debate' - it was intended to point out to you that you chastise people for doing something you do yourself.

Personally I see nothing wrong with going 'off-topic' a bit. It adds flavour and spice and makes a thread more interesting.

But if you're going to give other people a hard time for doing it - then set an example and don't do it yourself.

You could start by ignoring this post.
Have you and the other participant in this name calling and point scoring competition have any idea how tedious it is?.

On a lighter note The Economist has just held their worst politician article..
There were just too many to chose from with Vince Cable, TM, David Cameron, Liam Fox, David Davies all good runners but there were 2 stand out candidates... Boris and dear old JC.. Boris got the accolades, just.
But it's Boris's job to support his party in government, it's JC's job to disrupt where he opposes.

Clearly Boris has been by a very large margin the worst, but as usual of course, economists don't have a clue.
