Depends on how fast the tugs towing the type 45 missile destroyers are. With the Navy ships we have now they'll have time to fortify the place before we get there!

Surely this Brexit thread is that other dimension, judging by the strangely unfamiliar nature of much of the posting in here.I’m afraid that OG’s logic doesn’t fit in the box or the space outside the box. It belongs in another dimension yet to be discovered.
Perhaps we are witnessing a new form of Theory to replace "String" theory?Surely this Brexit thread is that other dimension, judging by the strangely unfamiliar nature of much of the posting in here.
One can see how it's time-space continuum is warped, jumping the pages up and down when someone like Tom tries to add anything unusual to it.

Aren't they lucky? And now the DUP are super-favoured...

Why am I remembering the 0.50 guns that Sajid has decided not to ban?Aren't they lucky?
Do you think they will keep him if we ask nicely?
.. I understand that they have been "put beyond reach "Why am I remembering the 0.50 guns that Sajid has decided not to ban?
In all seriousness, I certainly hope they have been... I understand that they have been "put beyond reach "
You really are a disgusting person, vilifying someone you've never communicated with and who you know nothing about.
Robdon is a valued member of exactly five years standing as of this month. He has posted 263 times, 8 times in this Brexit thread, the remainder helpfully on e-biking matters.
He is of course a remainer but has referred to the older major contributors in here as "the resident old codgers".
He showed his sense of humour again with probably the funniest post in this Brexit thread, here it is
I think in clicking his feelings about other's posts he shows a lot of intelligence, why spend ages bashing away at a keyboard when a simple click says what he wants to?

Among the "Mens Magazines" on the top shelf?.. I understand that they have been "put beyond reach "
Thank you for that comedy, have you managed to change into dry underwear?Pmsl!
Look at the white knight riding into the mutes honour.
So brave. So ruddy ruddy brave.
I salute you sir.
The defendor of sheep should be your sigil.
You are a king amongst men.
Kudos.
Protesters with big tattoos of Marine Le Pen on their biceps... France has extreme right wing louts AND extreme left wing louts, the extreme left wing louts don't appear to be interested in rising diesel prices...BBC:
Police in Paris have used tear gas and water cannon to disperse protesters demonstrating for a second weekend against rising fuel prices.
Maybe life outside the EU isn’t so bad.
He was a banker, you can't expect him to flip on the error of "liberal" politics. He was supposed to blunt the sharp edge so that the less well off didn't get their throats cut but it isn't working. At least he hasn't brought in zero hour contracts although he did menace doing so at one time. But the fuel prices are not the EU's doing. It's the French government unfairly hurting their provincial population who are most affected by the high prices, provoking the protests.
Macron is really falling out of favour now. I liken him to Tony Blair, suddenly popping up with a supposed new way to ensure a better future, but their new ways later exposed as baseless deceit.

I reckon about 45% would still vote to leave. Now that would be a perfect Christmas Present for the Entire population of the UK (Including the Leave Voters if there still are any)
Agreed but as I have said many times, when it comes to a vote they aren't worth the effort of trying to convert.I reckon about 45% would still vote to leave.
Fascinating days we live through

Damian Collins, the chair of the culture, media and sport select committee, invoked a rare parliamentary mechanism to compel the founder of a US software company, Six4Three, to hand over the documents during a business trip to London. In another exceptional move, parliament sent a serjeant at arms to his hotel with a final warning and a two-hour deadline to comply with its order. When the software firm founder failed to do so, it’s understood he was escorted to parliament. He was told he risked fines and even imprisonment if he didn’t hand over the documents.
Finding the HOC Sergeant at Arms in a persuasive mood unexpectedly filling your doorway must have made the individual involved feel like he was being invited to step outside by Darth Vader.
Delightful!
