One little gem I have just read is that every trucker entering the EU will need a special licence and special insurance, these licences will be difficult to obtain and rationed according to past usage.
Bet the NI truckers will love that one.
We should do like the French and block every motorway until this government start start to see some sense.
A 32 ton lorry going round the M25 at 5 mph will be much more effective than any march.

I have just read that NI truckers will not need the permit. Just as well, they were only getting 60 permits even though 4000 trucks pass across the border daily.
But if NI don't need them I can imagine that British truckers would argue that they don't need them-after all the DUP wanted NI to be treated the same as the rest of the UK.
Will EU to UK truckers need these permits?

Oh no - that's not OUR plan.

Actually, on this occasion, that claim seems feasible. After all, since when did No 10 have any plans?

Leaked plan to sell Brexit deal: 'Measured success is the narrative'

No 10 distances itself from optimistic plan, which predicts endorsements by world leaders

As a PR plan it is certainly ambitious, featuring endorsements from world leaders and an interview with Theresa May by David Dimbleby. However, Downing Street insists a leaked “communications grid” supposedly intended to sell a Brexit strategy does not reflect its thinking.

Details of the plan, seen by the Guardian among others, lay out an apparent timetable for the month, from a cabinet meeting on Tuesday to a House of Commons vote on the deal it says will take place on 27 November.

The days between are filled with a list of media events and supportive statements, beginning with a triumphant announcement from the Brexit secretary, Dominic Raab, that the cabinet has agreed a deal.

Theresa May's plan cannot fail, it is endorsed by Baldrick. Under the heading 'another cunning plan'
It will fail because Momentum, with 97% of Labour members support have told Corbin to vote down any plan which supports the Tory elite.
This time May just doesn't have the numbers.
It's a GE or 2nd vote or oblivion!
I hope the Brexiters get their wants!
KudosDave.

Don't miss the Bethnal Green Tube Disaster and Slapton Sands as two more...
Indeed 'oyster' and there were other examples too, I'm sure

'Bad for morale, you see!' So, a government got into the way of using lies, denials and half-truths to maintain its ability to govern in wartime.

As a coalition had been cobbled together at that time, all the major parties were party (sic) to that type of political manoeuvre, even though it might have been for the best of reasons. Sadly, the value to political parties of having control over the information allowed into the public domain in peacetime has become horrendously abused and it is now nigh impossible to identify a politician actually speaking the truth any more.

Wonder no longer at the ignorance of those who think the EU and foreign people, from wherever, are evil and unfit to be permitted in the UK.

New blow for UK car industry as European parts factories close

Michelin and Schaeffler to close UK plants with 1,400 jobs at risk

More than 1,400 British jobs are at risk after two European suppliers of car parts, Schaeffler and Michelin, announced plans to close UK factories in a blow to the wider automotive industry ahead of Brexit.

Schaeffler, the German car parts supplier, said uncertainty surrounding Brexit had contributed to its decision to close two UK factories, in Llanelli, Wales, and Plymouth, where 570 people are employed. The company said the closures would take place over the next two years.

No they never have been, N.I. is in the UK.

Britain is just England and Wales.

Great Britain is England, Wales and Scotland.

Only those from the latter two are British, those from N.I. are Irish.
.
But what passport do they have? Isn't it one of those British passports? You know, the once and future blue ones.

It occurred in the UK and was very heavily covered up in the UK.

That the casualties were Americans is not the point.
Actually I differ on that as the Americans refused to us the same radio frequency as the Royal Navy, who tried in vain to warn them of the impending E boat attack
https://slaptonsands.weebly.com/
The Slapton Sands Disaster is one of the greatest cover ups of American military history. With many deaths, few survivors, and a cover up by the American government, the Slapton Sands Disaster was a pivotal event during WWII. Although many do not know about this tragedy, it burns in the heart of the few Americans that experienced it. "

It important that information fully explains a situation.

They aren't British passports for any of us, as on the title they are for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. That combination is the nationwide and internationally recognised UK, so they are UK passports:

Collateral damage even before we get to the crunch! That might just be sufficient to convince the dunderheads in Sunderland and the other car producing areas that they really need to prevent 'Brexit'…..but will they?
