So appreciate his speculation. I really couldn't have thought of any of those possibilities. As for his inexactness, did that test a more approximate range than 10 to 100 years?
This character has said some contradictory things
"I have never tested this exactly – whether it is 10 or 100 years that it remains lethal,”
Really? Putin said if the had been exposed to Novichok they would have been killed instantly,
And thus far no one has died, let us hope no one will, but that fact discredits this (Expert's)claim
And he further claims they survived because the Novichoc was degraded or dluted, yet now claims the following
"
“
Unlike some of my colleagues, I’ve always said that it is very stable,” he said. “It can persist for years, with nothing much happening to it. There is a very, very, slow process of evaporation.”
There appears to be a difference of opinion there!
According to the now-retired scientist, “Novichok” can bury itself in paint, trees, and, perhaps, in wooden benches: “It can get in and remain there for a very long time. If it is on a neutral surface,
it will only degrade on account of evaporation. And that would be a long process.”
So it won't wash off, so why are people being given advice to wash things?
Frankly this man's speculation seems far from convincing
Why haven't Porton Down issued a proper report on the risk level to the Public instead of relying on this Russian, who frankly sounds like a Publicity seeker?
