Ooops!!

Inspectors back UK in spy poisoning row

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-43741140

so lets get on with it..

It’s a hollow statement tommie and raises more questions than it provides answers. In fact, the situation looks even more underhand than it did prior to the statement being made.

I know your image was posted in jest, but if an attack is launched and Russia retaliate, what do we then do? Retaliate with even more destructive force? Then we get our destruction paid back with interest and so on, tit for tat incrementaly increasing until something unimaginable happens. At what point di you say “we’ve won” ? What is winning in this scenario? I don’t know and I’m sure nobody else does, especially the idiots in Westminster.

Syria is not our business. It’s monsters fighting lunatics and we should keep well out of it.

It is no coincidence that today it has been announced that the NHS has performed worse than it has ever done in its history.

And now further confirmation of what I posted, that Putin would face down the West over Syria.

Trump has tweeted that a raid could be very soon, or not soon at all.

Theresa May has said that any action will need very careful thought first.

Simple fact, they are both scared. Hopefully sense will prevail and they won't do anything or at least limit a response.
.
Absolutely!

But they didn't Tommie, did they?
"
The international chemical weapons watchdog has confirmed the UK's analysis of the type of nerve agent used in the Russian ex-spy poisoning.

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons did not name the nerve agent as Novichok, but said it agreed with the UK's findings on its identity.
"
10.
The results of analysis by the OPCW desi
gnated laboratories of environmental and
biomedical samples collected by the OPCW
team confirm the fi
ndings of the United
Kingdom relating to the identity of the toxic chemical that was used in Salisbury and
severely injured three people.

But they never said who made it, used it or where it came from did they?
In other words
They said it was of a "Novichoc type"
Nothing else.
As I said earlier molecules dont come with passports or even bar codes so demanding such a level of certainity is troll-like. What it does is confirm the uk laboratories results.
Until and unless the uk police catagorically identify the delivery mechanism and then the human agents responsible they will not be able to backtrack to the source. I would be confident that given the will and the resources they will do so. Since one of their own was injured i would suggest they have the wil. And as middle england is one of the most cameraed locations they have the means.

An important point. David Cameron asked parliament for permission to take action against Syria. Parliament refused to sanction it.

No means no, does it not?

Surely it must go back to parliament before any action since it stands at No at present?

What it does is confirm the uk laboratories results.
No it didn't, it agreed our government's findings, which doesn't confirm anything at all. All the government announcements have been nothing other than innuendo with no proofs of results. So the OPCW have merely reinforced the innuendo.

The one tangible thing we do know due to a scientist's leak was that Porton Down had their arm twisted to agree that the material used was "of a Novichok type".

France's President Emmanuel Macron says he has "proof" that the Syrian government attacked the town of Douma with chemical weapons last weekend.

Yes, everyone on-board now!

(well, except a couple of Marxist/Commie no-marks on an Ebike forum - LOL! :p)
What’s your end game tommie? How do you want to see this play out? What would victory look like?

Before anyone backs or promotes or glorifies military action of any kind, they must first ask themselves if they would be content for the consequences to affect them personally. Would you consider the death of someone close to you, like a family member, to be a price worth paying in an attempt to settle an internal conflict in Syria? If you consider that to be too higher price, you shouldn’t be making these posts.

Rest assured, the politicians making these accusations and threats will not bear any of the consequences and nor will their families. They will be nowhere to be seen. It will be ordinary fools like us that pay the heavy price.

I think wars should be fought by elected politicians armed with blunt pocket knives...

The Sun has gone over the top
"
BORN TYRANTS
Luxury lives of Syrian butcher Assad and his British ‘First Lady of Hell’ as kids are gassed to death

Bashar Assad and his London-born wife Asma own a $1billion palace and spend fortunes on lavish shopping sprees while Syria is ripped apart

Note that for once they didn't actually blame him! but further down we read
"The evil regime is determined to continue to try and paint Asma as the “rose in the desert” despite her husband carrying out 28 chemical weapons attack since the civil war started in 2011.

But the readers haven't come out of the trenches in favour, nearly all are anti the Sun's stance

I realise this may come as a surprise to you but Russia isn't communist any more and Putin recently came down on them heavily.

Apart from yourself who are you referring to? you support a government with close ties to Communist China , they grovel to them don't they Comrade Tommie.?

When the Russians, finally provoked into demonstrating their military strength, decide to hit the UK with mass airborne nerve agent strikes, will my gas mask save me?

Tom
With any luck they will use Novichoc and we will all wake up after a couple of days with an awful hangover.
Just go around wearing Marigolds if you have to open doors etc.

Think 2 seperate issues are going on here. To my mind Russia, Putin, call it what you want are guilty over the poisoning in Salisbury...but and its a massive but that has absolutely nothing to do with attacking Syria. Why on earth are we even getting involved ? If we had means to actually do something on our own , well that's a different matter. As we are we merely hold Trumps coat and help him justify a senseless action, if he does act. At least he seems to have guts to back down, which is to his credit. ( if he means latest messages)

If anyone is in doubt as to wether investigation confirmed the UK findings see page 2 , section 10 of their summary of findings.
The full document is not available to public and doubt it ever will be.

You really are easily pleased. That says absolutely nothing, merely says it confirms the UK's findings. Since the UK's findings amount to saying it must have been the Russians, there's still no evidence.

I appreciate they can't publish the formula, but why haven't they said Novichok? I'll tell you why, it's becauses none of the OPCW scientists have said it is, so the press office daren't say it is in case a scientist breaks ranks and leaks the truth, just as happened at Porton Down.

What idiots our politicians are, not content with being unable to do anything about the Crimea or Russian assistance to Syria, they accuse Russia of a poisoning with no evidence and give Russia the propaganda upper hand. All Russia needs do is what they've done, say "prove it, give us some samples". The fact that we haven't done so is further proof that we have no evidence.
