Personally, I'm looking forward to tucking into a succulent kangaroo burger whilst swigging a tin Fosters behind the wheel of a big V8 Holden. What is there not to like?

No doubt it was, and mine was from the Sunday Express, the Holden and the Fosters sound good, however!
Just a query what happened to us being unable to negotiate our own trade deals as we are still a member of the EU at this point? have we reneged on our legal obligations already?
That should help get us kicked out on our ear with any luck.
Except of course we have only had promises so far, haven't we? and we know what they are worth, don't we?

I have friends at Birmingham university,their medical research dept has achieved some useful advances in medical . They are very active in trying to invent new antibiotics,which are so vital now that bugs are developing that are resistant to current medicine.
If we Brexit the EU ,the EU is threatening to stop those grants which are given to the university,this will restrict the ability for the university to develop new medicines.
So those who say Brexit doesn't affect me,I don't care about the pound,I don't care about recession,I am retired I don't care about loss of jobs,well maybe you will care when you go to hospital and they say they don't have drugs to treat your illness. There are many hidden downsides to Brexit that Boris didn't tell us prior to the referendum.
On the Andrew Marr show,it was said that 16% of the EU research budget comes to the UK.....Tillson,can you imagine that the UK government post Brexit would make up this money after we have left the EU?

to borrow leavers' logic, the experts were wrong before, why should anyone one believe they are right now? one could be tempted to say brexiters did not come up with a plan before the referendum, why should anyone believe they will come up with one now?
I wonder how long before David Davis throws in the towell and returns to the backbench. March 2017? maybe sooner.

i am working on selling compressors into Europe,at the moment that is easy we are signatory to the EU standard which allows all 28 member states to sell to all,under the same standard.
I have had cause to look at the British standard,this standard is not a qualifying standard into the EU. It has taken a team at the EU six years to agree harmonisation of the various standards.
If we leave the EU,we would not necessarily be able to sell our compressors into the EU only into the UK and ironically the products would all have to be retested to the old UK standard.
This applies to dozens of products which have been harmonised throughout the EU,this work has been done over many years. If the EU refuse us access to their standard we wont be able to sell a very wide range of products from the UK into Europe.
On a daily basis problems of Brexit are becoming aware,these problems were not visible prior to the referendum.

Nicola Sturgeon said that she is now in a powerful position,Scotland has voted overwhelmingly to stay in the EU,she realises that she has an effective veto to the UK leaving the EU,threatening to take Scotland independent if the UK attempts to trigger Article 50.
She also mentioned that the SNP and Labour would vote against Article 50, by that I suppose she means she would vote against the 1972 ECA act,with the inevitable Tory anti Brexit rebels and Northern Ireland the maths don't allow parliament to repeal the Act.
Owen Smith,the new Labour leader candidate also realised that Labour could appeal to the 16 million who voted Remain,that would be dangerous to Theresa May in the event of another General Election.
David Davis is going to be a busy man trying to reconcile this lot.
Are the leavers still confident it's a done deal? The people may have spoken but parliament haven't yet,I don't think they are going to get the opportunity, May is too bright to take the risk.

I don't think the Scots will leave. It's just the small Scottish woman opening her cake hole, as usual, and letting the highland breeze rattle her tongue about.

I think most of the Scottish people are sensible enough to understand they belong in Great Britain. The loudest voices for independence seem to be the likes of Sir James Bond.
