So answer this: What is just over 261 metres long, is called Charles de Gaulle, has two steam catapults, and is French?
I knew that one of course, but it's from long ago and the French secretly wish they'd never bothered.

What's certain is they won't be doing it again, while we never seem to learn. Not just two aircraft carriers, one which will never be used, but a succession of Albion class assault ships which can never have a defence role, being solely for attacking other countries.

Flecc, shame on you, you are not thinking outside the box, how is the uk to export goods to the eu post Brexit, if they aren't going to land them secretly on Brittany beaches

"
Government ‘is not ready to deal with changes to immigration after Brexit’, report finds
'Failure to set out detailed plans for the registration and transition period soon will make it impossible for the already overstretched UK Visas and Immigration, Border Force and Immigration Enforcement to do their job properly'"

But then, they are useless in everything they do.

So, now we are to be treated to a series of speeches by leading tories in an effort to stem the haemorrhaging public support for their crass folly.

uk-politics-43045553

In the widely leaked first of that series, the fool......

....will attempt to get the remainers onside. That should be fun!

Meanwhile, the children and grandchildren of the generation that believed the lies of the self-same political dunderheads who created this mess are having nightmares.......

The staff at Border Force do their best. The actual organisation and running of the department is yet another Teresa May triumph during her time as Home Secretary, just like the police.

Boris Johnson denounced ahead of major Brexit speech: 'Why are we taking him seriously?'
Foreign Secretary prepares to deliver speech on his vision for a 'liberal' Brexit"

Well I for one think we should take him seriously, and have him prosecuted for lying to and misleading the public.
He isn't the only one guilty of that of course, but his arraignment would be a start in the right direction.

Boris might resign if he doesnt get his way on Brexit....enough said.
How did his speech go down?
Will it unite us all remainers and leavers, seems like us remainers are not being patriotic to the government.
May calls it the 'war cabinet',did we declare war on someone?
Dont you just love it,hehe!!!

I watched him on News 24 this morning. Contrived bumbling as usual.
I don't think his speech would change anybody's view on brexit, it just confirms that TM's government can't bring itself to accept that there is a cost to brexit and to stop using the patriotic rhetoric.

No it won't unite us. We Remainers are the patriotic loyalists, we voted to support 44 years of government decisions on the EU.

The Leavers were traitors, opposed to all those democratic government decisions and splitting the country into two factions, planting the seeds of a civil war.

How's economic growth looking in the UK at the moment?

It seems the EU has done very nicely which seems a little perverse given the stories we have been told by British 'experts' about 'them' needing us far more than we need them. In the full knowledge that the UK seems intent on committing economic hara kiri on a scale never before witnessed on the world stage ploughing its own furrow in a global marketplace controlled by huge multinational blocs, the 27 other states in the EU seem less than alarmed at the prospect of the UK's departure.

This is the economics headline today:

it's the euro and eurozone that is the bugbear of brexiters.
Hard brexiters accept as given that the Euro is about to collapse and the EU will force all the 8 countries currently not in the eurozone (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Sweden) to join the eurozone.
Why they swallow that argument whole is beyond me.

It's currently rather more likely that the EU could threaten Poland and Hungary with expulsion. They certainly won't be wanting them in the eurozone with their present behaviour.

All I can see are advantages for you and your fellow Parasites.

And suffering both financial and social for the rest of the nation.
