It is a Woosh kit also you could get a similar kit from BMS Battery/China.

Thanks again Andy88, I had a look online at the Freego Bafang Max Drive and also the Bottecchia versions, but they were based on a reg MTB top bar frame.

It will be interesting to see what Brighton Bikes come back to you with, as I guess the model in the image is from the same factory as the Volton, and the manufacturer just brands them accordingly.

It's a definite contender for me, and the integrated fit of the Max Drive motor, looks a lot neater than what the lash up job of the BBS motors look like.

It could just be worth the extra, for an off the shelf solution, I am thinking.

Thanks for finding that d8veh, slightly different frame to the one in Andy88's image but not far of.

That is quite a good response that Andy88 got from BB, and it certainley looks like the Chinese are upping there game, for the European market, this can only be good news.

I am sure that there will be more models comming along that will be using the Bafang Max Drive, I especially liked the Volton step through model, with battery contained within the down tube, very neat indeed.

That price will help push down on the price of established brands, and in turn will see the price of Bafang Max Drive models drop.

within the next couple of years, battery cell production is to be ramped up, to beyond an imaginable scale, which should see battery prices comming out at 30% less than they are now, interesting times ahead indeed.
