    Road Safety Changes Poll

I voted for 1 & 4. I think all cyclist should have some form of training & test and I would include parts of the driving test (theory and hazard perception tests) because I think they apply equally to any road user. I would also require all cycle owners to have third party insurance. For car...

    20mph-zone-but-police-wont-enforce-it-

Bring in a law like they have in France, cars have to pass cyclists with 1m clearance in towns and 1.5m outside towns. Do that over here and then getting cyclists cylcing both ways in a 20mph limit about 1m from the kerb means cars would have lots of problems overtaking which would slow them down.

    Mountain Folder with Ebike 26" 48V 250W,Battery, 20" 250W front & Rear Conversion Kit

I looked at the ebay add but it is a little confusing. You say it is for 26" 48v 250w folding bike but also go on to list front and rear 20" conversion kits and "there fornt, rear few missing accessories". Can you either post or pm me exactly what you have for sale plus how old the 3 things are...

    Whats good for Asia.....

I think the power of the motor is not what needs limiting, it is the speed. 250w in Holland may be great where 99% of the country is flat and probably 80%+ cycle anyway so they are fairly fit and elec assist is just a bonus. In countries like the UK with plenty of hills and even some mountains...

    Electrifying ICE Trice T26

D8veh, dont know if you have fitted one of these on a Trike but having looked on their website the obvious question is where do you clamp the bracket to because on a normal bike its to the frame in front of the crank but on a trike the crank is at the front of a boom so there is nothing in front...

    Electrifying ICE Trice T26

If you go to the Camden shop the guy there has put one on a trike, he also has a BOSS Super System on the back wheel. Given him a few days notice and you could try it.

What bike test-drive policies do you have?

Two recent experiences: Electric Bike Shop (London Bridge, London) - turned up at shop to have a look at a couple of their bikes, rep said he was free if I wanted to test them. He road one and I the other around Borough/Elephant Castle and we swapped bikes half way so I could try them both...

    Hi from Stevenage, Herts

Just got myself a Volt Pulse and now think of converting my ICE Trice T26 so looking for options about what to use to convert it. Target is more around range than exceeding on road speed limit.
