    The stuff of dreams

I lived in the Czech Republic for three years and everything over there must come with a two year warranty without exception! It just goes to show how much we get ripped off over here with extended warranties. I think a few of the ebike resellers over here would have well and truely gone bust...

Nano kits - the web site doesn't seem to be interested

I sent them a couple of emails in the spring asking about the higher speed motor but, didn't get a reply:( Probably best to look elsewhere as backup might be a problem.

    How 50cycles EV company works.

If it wasn't for the Panasonic bikes then 50c would have gone down the toilet a while ago. A shame that they have exclusivity on them and also a shame that Ezee ever got involved with them as their name is now as good as mud in the UK thanks to them.

Grrrr, no CycleScheme option for Cytronex

lol ;) I'm sure as their business grows this will be something they look at but, if it involves a large amount of time and/or expense you can't really blame them when they are just starting out.

    Lithium-ion Battery Life

I've had my HP for 4 and a half years and it goes through a battery every year! I have come to the conclusion that it is simply too small a battery for the power requirements Devices like mobile phones, mp3 players etc have a low variance when it comes to power consumption but, Laptops...

    Kalkhoff v Cytronex

Could anyone hazard a guess at what sort of hill the higher RPM motor would be capable of tackling. I'm in Canterbury, so don't really have anything too severe but, it needs to be able to give reasonable assistance up relatively long, but gentle inclines. Also Mark, by additional do you mean...

    Kalkhoff v Cytronex

An excellent review Aldby. Does this mean there may potentially be a used cytronex up for sale soon;)

Tour of Britain – Stage 3 , eZee vs Kalkhoff

Sorry but, I think This event seems about as pointless as you get.

Pro Connect vs. Ezee Torq vs. Wisper 905se - which is 'best'?

I think that someone from cyclepoint needs to clarify whether the Torqs they are selling can be derestricted or not as it seems as clear as mud. Especially as this is probably the main selling point of the bike. A restricted Torq does seem to be a little pointless if you ask me as you have...

Pro Connect vs. Ezee Torq vs. Wisper 905se - which is 'best'?

I thought the new Torq couldn't be destricted.

How much import duty is charged ?

I'm not sure how relevant this is but, I've order quite a few computer parts amongst other things over the years from the states all sent via the standard US postal service and have I never been hit with any additional charges. I don't know whether they are suitable for large and/or expenses...

Long Term Test Outcome - eZee battery

Thanks Flecc. The laptop I have basically has a desktop processor in it which I don't think helps as it puts a lots of strain on the battery.

Long Term Test Outcome - eZee battery

First off, a great job you did testing the battery, you must have been dying of bordom at some points. This was going to be my question and I know you've already answered. I'm now onto my 5th battery for one of my laptops. (it's 5 years old now) What I found was it didn' really make too much...

For some reason the word 'patronising' springs to mind:D

    Bike posting cautionary tale

I should have probably read that post first as you've given a really good account of your experiences with it. I can see how the setup could be unsuitable for a lot of people as it doesn't appear to be the type of bike aimed at people who are after a more leisurely ride, but more an out and out...

    Bike posting cautionary tale

I think you'll be lucky after what you did to the Trek:D Just kidding. Sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you. Was the problem the lack of assistance on hills and a low speeds?

    Wisper 905se power query

Not even a derestricted SE would make going to work a real joy for me;)

    Problems

I've read plenty of posts on here regarding the 'lithium battery' fiasco amongst other things where flecc certainly has not been showing allegiance towards Ezee/50 cycles. Perhaps his appreciation for the panasonic range is misconstrued as allegiance for 50 cycles as they unfortuanelty have...

    Trek Cytronex - First Impressions.

I'm probably going to jinx myself now, but touch wood (taps one's head) I haven't been caught in the rain either in the morning going to work or coming home from work since the end of February! I would probably still ruin the looks of the bike though by fitting some very classic looking guards...

    Segway sighting!

When I lived in Prague I use to see them all the time as you can rent them out, but they were really expensive. They do seem to go pretty fast and they look very stable.
