    EX 1 cassette bodge idea

I have the EX1 on my Haibike and I am really unimpressed. It is easily more fragile than the XX1 11spd it replaced. I am on my third cassette in around 2000 miles and the problem is the three top gears just start slipping. I do believe that SRAM will be selling the three loose top gears for...

    Chain Noise Grrrrr

I have had this on two of my Haibikes, including my latest within the first twenty miles. I have found various sources including derailleur jockey wheels (best to remove them to clean them), dirt buildup on the inside of the SRS pulley, incorrect positioning of the chain wheel, it can be...

Options for transporting ebike by car

I use a 1UPUSA bike carrier in the US and here in the UK. I use a double one but you can get at least three on there. They are insanely strong and easy to use. Each bike takes 20 seconds to pop in and secure. http://www.1upusa.com/product-quikrackblack.html They are stunningly well engineered...

    Juice Lubes praise

Well done for highlighting great service. On the strength of this I have just put in an order of my own. Let's see how the fork juice performs.

Help finding £25,000+ of stolen electric bikes

That almost worked out; I need a Bosch charger that is dual voltage; my US AMT Pro came with a 110v/220v charger; my UK one with a 220v charger only. Did not even know until I was trying to find out why it would not work in the US. Beyond me why they would even bother with two different...

Help finding £25,000+ of stolen electric bikes

I am so sorry, especially after all the hard work setting up that awesome showroom. You know that you probably spent time showing the perpetrators around the bikes don't you. I guess that makes me a suspect; and I need a new charger.

    Nuvinci Harmony N360, interface probleem

Mine goes through cables quickly but always an easy and cheap repair.

Brose motors - 90Nm of torque!!!

I am not too convinced about their torque figures. It did not seem more than my Haibike AMT Pro and probably less then my 2016 Nduro Pro. It also seemed to hit its max RPM quickly and then cut off all assist and that did not really feel good to me. It is all personal and you should really have...

    Haibike problems

Actually you may have found the problem, they are very sensitive to chain lubrication. Give it a really good clean and lube, including the SRS gear and see if it changes it. In some conditions I need to redo it after 10 miles. My new Haibike Nduro Pro is much worse in this regard than either of...

    Haibike Trekking

Good point, I am 6ft ad my AMT Pro at 44cm is right

    Haibike Trekking

One thing that I learnt was that sizing on Haibikes is not consistent across the range, so I use 44cm AMT Pros and 47cm NDURO Pro and they feel the same. The geometry on the Trekking will be different again so I would urge you to sit on the actual bike before committing.

To go tubeless or not to go tubeless.

I prefer my 250W bosch bikes over my 750w Bafang mid drive. I only take the Bafang when my Haibike is broken. Not ridden the 1000W but the power is not the issue.

To go tubeless or not to go tubeless.

Yep, all my four the same. Can't be long for the 5A to appear.

    Power levels and cadence..

On the Bosch am I the only one who feels patronised with the little symbol that tells you when to change up or down? It really does not like me spinning.

To go tubeless or not to go tubeless.

After having run tubeless on the front and latex on the rear for two years I have been on normal tubes on my new bike until today. Third puncture in 3 weeks was enough for me. This bike came with Mavic tyres and wheels and they seem to be falling apart; they have more wear in 400 miles than my...

    Another dirty weekend!

Not sure if you were replying to me but I use full suspension all the time off road and on road, sad to say the fatbike is only for my friends' use now. Bosch is simply more fun than Bafang.

    Another dirty weekend!

As well as our array of four Haibikes we also have a 750W fat bike. In rough conditions I use around 6psi in the tyres and they are good for turning rocky trails with rocks unto 4 cm above the ground into a smooth as tarmac experience. Bigger rocks are going to send you rattling and crashing...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I lost this bolt on my AMT Pro within the first month; of course 15 miles from home. My other AMT Pro has got the classy cable ties, I bought a big pot of multicoloured ones on Amazon. My new NDuro Xduro Pro is safe however, I spent the months waiting for it sewing netting together from bags of...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I have had a lot of joy from the Thomson Droppers, but even though the Haibike AMT Pro originally had internal cabling I actually got the Thomson with the external control cable. It has never been a problem and gets lost amongst the brake cables. I replaced both Crank Bros droppers with Thomsons...

    Mtb offroad Satnav / GPS

With paper maps I seem to have lived my life on the edge of multiple sheets; now we have gone electronic I am finding the same. As the 25k tiles are quite small I am now paying more for an electronic copy than I ever did for paper. The thing that I love about the 25k series is how a new...
