My Cube Reaction race 500 has developed a tick whilst riding it...

Might sound silly but have you checked the tyre for a stone or some other object stuck in it. Steve.

    Disc Brakes

Hi, put an elastic band around the front brake lever and the handlebar so it is pulling the brake on and leave it overnight, this usually gets rid of the air in the system. Steve...

Wisper 905 SE Crossbar or Raleigh Array E-Motion Crossbar 700c

Hi Stew, I have found the Wisper 905se very usable in the eight months i have owned it. As for hills i live in the Peak District and regularly do rides of 25 miles and overall elevation climbs of 2500ft.

Wisper 705 Torque or Raleigh Motus step thru with hub gears.

Hi, i have the 375wh battery, with hindsight i would have got a larger capacity battery as the hills around the Peak District are damned steep. However the battery i have has seen me cycle 30 miles and climb 3000ft elevation during a ride and still have power left so i suppose it depends on your...

Wisper 705 Torque or Raleigh Motus step thru with hub gears.

Haven't got a 705 Torque but did buy a 905se at the end of last year and love it, copes well with hills around the Peaks and has been no trouble, best bet is test rides, i had a Carrera Crossfire before but returned it to Halfords due to reliability issues.

My review of the Dillenger Opia 2.0 - and why to avoid Dillenger at all costs

Why would they need to refund you and take the bike back? a couple of spokes broke when you hit a stone you decided to ride it another 13 miles in this condition as you state in a previous post and consequently broke more spokes, the most they need to do is rebuild or replace the wheel.

My review of the Dillenger Opia 2.0 - and why to avoid Dillenger at all costs

First of all if you don't want the whole world to see your photographs don't put them on Facebook, secondly your spokes certainly didn't break on the road you have just posted a picture of, also why didn't you stop riding after the first two spokes broke? You complain about so many things before...

    Any deals under £1000

I can recommend the Wisper 905, I bought one last October and it has been great, plenty powerful enough even around the hills in Macclesfield (very steep) a friends Haibike coped only marginally better on a 1in5 hill when i had to get off 30yds before the top, but that cost nearly 3 times as...

    Changing Chainring on Wisper 905se

Hi folks i am looking at changing the chainring on a Wisper 905se which is 52 to a smaller size (due to the size of the hills around here) has anyone done similar or have any advise? it seems to be a riveted chainring so i will have to remove the crank arm, but does anyone know if the pas magnet...

    Bike transport

I have a Roomster and its fitted with an internal bike rack, but you do have to remove the front wheels, that said the rear seats can be removed simply and the bikes are secure and out of sight.

Bike Purchase Advice - 22 Mile (one way) Commute

I reckon you will be fine on the gear and chain set up on the Middlewood Way i have used my Wisper on it and had no problems, in fact the Oxygen is probably better set up than the Wisper so i wouldnt give it a second thought.

Bike Purchase Advice - 22 Mile (one way) Commute

I use a Wisper 905se on the Middlewood Way and have had no problems its also quite capable around the hills, although i would go for the 575 battery if choosing again.

    Faulty eCarrera Crossfire

Go and get your money back, it is still under warranty, be polite and firm and inform them it is not fit for purpose ask to see the manager and refuse to leave the store until they refund you, if they are awkward make sure you raise your voice enough for other customers to become aware also make...

    Carrera Crossfire ebike Battery Charger

My advise, take it back and get your money back then buy a bike from one of the contributors on this forum i.e. Wisper, Woosh, Juicy, Oxygen, Kudos etc. That is what i did after the problems with my Carrera cutting out, the bike is not fit for purpose even though when it was working it was good...

Hello from Rochdale, will get a Wisper soon.

Having read your blogs on the routes around North Wales and finding them very interesting we will be attempting to do some of them this year as my brother in law lives in Penrhyn Bay and we visit quite often. Have you got the 575 battery on your 705?.

Hello from Rochdale, will get a Wisper soon.

Hi, I purchased a Wisper 905se about 3 months ago after having a disastrous time with a Carrera from Halfords ie cutting out saga, the Wisper is great and does what it says on the box, a wise choice going for the 575kw battery i went for the 375kw and in hindsight would have been better with the...
