Great bikes, nearly 3 years with my 905se and 2500mls and still going strong.....

Agreed the chain paranoia is unfounded(over 50 years of bikes and motorbikes and not had a chain fail) and most likely down to poor maintenance, but as you say the rear hub motor puncture is a real pain

Seems a bit harsh seeing as you know very little about them and ebikes in general.

Been using a Carrera Crossfuse for the last 18 months with a Bosch Activeline Plus motor and done 2000 miles around the Peak District with no problems, usually do about 20miles with 800m of elevation and it uses 2 bars out of 5 on the battery.

I had a Crossfire before the Crossfuse which I returned due to cutting out problems(great bike otherwise) and I also have a Wisper 905 which is excellent. I reckon I have narrowed my next bike down to 2 choices either a Wisper Wayfarer or a Forme Alport HTE Urban.

Now that can't be disputed.....

Hi there, like you I am 2000 mls in with a Carrera Crossfuse and thinking of upgrading but not sure what would be better as the Crossfuse is so capable and the Bosch Activeline plus a joy to ride.

Par for the course I am afraid from certain people on here if you have an opposing view, best way is to ignore them and let them rant away.
