I think I agree with that too, Brexit is almost a completely different argument. Trouble is if things get worse, which they were going to do without change, Brexit will be blamed. In reality country has been in a financial mess for years and divisions have got larger. Dissatisfaction was rife...

One aspect about Trump I would be very worried about if I were Amereican is his relationship with Gun lobby.(NRA?).they donated 30 million dollars towards his campaign, they,ll be expecting a return on investment. Wont affect us but gun crime could see another rise in States ?

I agree American democracy is a mystery..but Trump ,as inappropriate as he appears, is by no means the worst material for an American president they,ve had... They,ve had actors,peanut farmers and some with more than close connections to organised crime.Trump is probably one of their best...

Fair point Kiwi, I think its political manouvering prior to negotiations. Government are making a point perhaps. And I do agree some allowance must be made and folk involved kept informed. I know lots of expats in Spain and they are very unsure of future and where they stand.. Its all part of...

KTM Ok, fair enough...but exactly what rules have changed under Brexit for you to automatically assume its the cause.. As far as I am aware not a single rule or policy has actually changed..??? Which remainers are quick to point out when it suits them.
