You may be a bit late.....Loan companies are already making the most of the opportunity presented by the poorest in our society but you can always try.

@PeterL Now I know that all this can have nothing to do with Tory austerity policies.......but I suspect that soon you will be driving a larger Food Bank van. "The paper found that there were 45,000 more deaths in the first four years of Tory-led efficiencies than would have been expected if...

Best read it again as clearly it didn't penetrate.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I have lived and worked in Dundee for many years since attending University there in the early seventies so there is little you can tell me about it. You appear to support their austerity policies and yet you drive a Food Bank van........there are times when you feel your head must explode....am...

The posts....and especially those from people who run a business and who say things will work themselves out so no need to worry....are depressing. Such delusion in imagining that such a fiendishly complicated situation which has serious consequences for our economy is going to be an easy fix...

I offer a helping hand and this is the thanks I get....I mean really........ I'm holding my breath and going red in the face trying very hard to imagine you as a "sensitive" person given that I'm aware that you are a supporter of the Tory policies. The number of people using food banks still...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Once again you are misinformed....what your Tory politicians and the Unionist press are complaining about is exactly the opposite. "SNP ministers have been accused of “social engineering” after the number of middle-class students winning a place in a Scottish university on exam results day...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I think it's pretty well understood that when we speak of "free" in this context we are already aware that we pay for these things through general taxation. That said when you describe such things as "Gerrymandering" you are clearly confused as the term is applied to fixing electoral boundaries...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

"Probably"....doesn't quite cut it and lets call a Tory...a Tory...I mean be proud for heavens' sake. I applaud you for being true to your principles and having the gumption as an Englishman to choose to live in Scotland even while criticising the Scottish Government......you know the one that...

You may have never been a member of the Party but that does not mean that you are not a Tory. Your ideology as you present it here is certainly in line with their policies and.........bugger....there's that duck again.

Now I know that you say that you are not a Tory and have never voted for them and of course I accept that........but why is it that with every one of your posts a picture of a duck comes into my mind?

You know little of Dundee.....Jute disappeared a long time ago and everyone know where Fife is....oh yes.

I mean really....seriously? Nothing wrong with dreaming I suppose but then anythings possible...after all since 2000... Wales benefited from EU funding to the tune of £5.3 billion and yet voted "leave". I mean anything can happen.....right?

Dream on. "British infrastructure projects seeking funds from the European Investment Bank will need to insure the bank against the risks of Brexit, its president said at the weekend, as he warned that Britain’s departure from the EU would damage its ability to fund infrastructure. "He echoed...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Trickle down economics has long been discredited...it simply doesn't work. "Trickle-down economics says that Reagan's lower tax rates should have helped people in all income levels. In fact, the opposite occurred. Income inequality worsened. Between 1979 and 2005, after-tax household income...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Tax avoidance is only possible because it is allowed....I note it is only the very wealthy who can do this...it is something confined to the rich. If any Government was serious they could eliminate this by making it illegal......it would make Lord Ashcroft very annoyed of course. Raising taxes...

I've just read this.....and I'm astonished...astonished...... I tell you, to find that behind my back Dundee has been moved to England.....and here was I planning to nip up there to buy some coffee beans.

We have an NHS which is recognised as world class in terms of value for money according to many surveys but is woefully underfunded. A wait of four hours to be seen is totally unacceptable but your anger should be directed at those politicians who refuse to fund the service properly and instead...
