1-1-2016 Today's Change in the Law.

You cannot please everybody and never will and why should we. There are people out there that may well hang up their cycling gloves without the comfort of a throttle. The throttle being potentially their only way to get home should they be struggling physically. Its a sorry state of affairs...

1-1-2016 Today's Change in the Law.

I was thinking more on the lines of some sort of dispesation scheme for orange badge or medical certificate holders. I'd like to think that if or when I'm unable to pedal far that something as seemingly simple as above would have been implemented.

Presumably it is still legal to but these throttles and they will not be required to carry any legal notice. Would it not be possible to have a throttle classified as a disabled aid? Thereby allowing some to regain the lost benefit.

On the road no matter what. You can't get better than that.

Hung for a sheep or lamb.....

Flecc I'm embarrassed to say that my 1st electric cycle was a 1000w self build with throttle. Shall not say where it came from but it was totally unsuitable for my needs and it didn't last past a couple of months. My 250W Bosch powered KTM and Haibike are a million times better and far more...

    Who's Kalkhoff UK

I dont know the history of trading names etc. My point being that Kalkhoff UK suggests to me that there would be another port of call, other than 50 Cycles should anyone have problems with their machine. If Kalkoff UK is in fact 50 Cycles, then there is no other port of call. I would see this...

Hung for a sheep or lamb.....

Dave I think you are missing the point regarding S Pedelecs. I like most I have spoken to wish for a light weight cycle, assisted to say 28mph with a reasonable amount of rider input. A 350w S version would do this nicely and make a very usable machine. Any suggestion that one might as well go...

    Who's Kalkhoff UK

Kalkoff UK suggests that they are they are a branch of the manufacturer based in the UK. Clearly not the case and very misleading.

    More than a lucky escape.

Proves Fleccs theory that you don't need a helmet. Seriously, one very lucky young man.

    Haibike SDuro Faults

Wouldn't have taken much effort to have had a hooded connector at that top and not the bottom. Flip the whole thing upside down, nice little rain hood and end of problem.

New electric Haibike for kids, not as sensible as I thought :(

I think these are a terrific idea, especially if mum and or dad have an ebike too. My little one is too small at the moment but i'd happily buy one when she is a bit older. At the end of the day I can't see a 10 year old doing too much time if caught riding one out in the sticks.

I'll take the empty shopping trolley. You take the full one and you will have your answer.

    First Recorded Hoverboard Death.

Lets not forget that you can get fat and die of a heart attack sat in front of a play station. Cotton wool is not the answer. Whilst this incident along with any accidental death is always very sad this should be no reason to ban these things. Obviously not a bright move using the thing near the...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Just seen this and I agree. If you actually add a light to see where you are going the grid would be invisible anyway. Think i'm going to invent something shi*e. Wait a minute, I did once and nobody bought it!
