should ktm bikes sell sclass bikes without proof of private land.

I want to buy a de-restricted electric cycle and am happy to Register / insure it in the same way that others do in other European countries. I can't but see no reason why I should not enjoy the same transport options as others. If I wish to commute legally at a sensible pace I can register and...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Eddie As a matter of note, do you know what sort of insurance arrangements are in place at these events? I presume legal riders are blanket covered. Dongles would certainly compromise and or invalidate any cover organised.

    Bosch Classic about to die?

Was hoping that the bearing face of the shaft was larger than the O/D of the splines. Obviously not. Let's see if Soundwave delivers.

Is it possible to have the shaft ground to fit a standard bearing?

    Bosch Classic about to die?

I had my motor replaced FOC when Bosch were exchanging suspect units early last year. Not sure how far this scheme extends or even if it is still running. At the time mine had done 6000 miles and occassinoally lost drive from the pedals. 6000, the main bearings were getting rough and noisy...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I opted for full suspension on my non E mtb a couple of years back. Definately makes the trail faster with the same skill level over a hard tail. This may of may not be an advantage. More potential for crashes I guess. And I'm not aiming that at Soundwave. What it has also done for me is allow...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Seems an expensive over complication to me. Maybe some benefit for the pro downhill racers who have van load of wheels at the bottom of the hill. Your average mtber, 20 miles from nowhere with a puncture kit, no use at all. Personally, if I were to go with this idea i'd ditch the inner air...

Its amazing to me how peoples behavior can change when on the road. Sort of dual personality with the worst coming out.

News: Belgian politician puts speed pedelec to the test

The result will be yes, it is an alternative to the car for some. Shame we cannot have a parallel test here in the UK

    Carpal pain

Judging by the low saddle height the frame is looking exceptionally long. Despite the height of the bars, could it be that you are over stretched placing a lot of weight on your wrists.

    650b+ tyres on a 650b rim??

For me I find that a good part of the grip is through the tyres partially sinking into the mud. Not tried but I would imagine that very wide tyres would sit on the mud and give very little grip. Went out yesterday and it was more like water skiing at speed down hill. It was only the tyre...
