    Brexit, for once some facts.

I'm sure you would but you'd be wrong of course. Let me refer you to this snip: Add to that, many of us that voted out, sincerely believe that the EU is doomed anyway. Other than that the Vote to leave was a good cross-section of society with probably (Tom can correct me) more Labour voters...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The Tories have the short-straw? No amount of posturing will remove the fact that they have to do what the Referendum dictates they do - negotiate our exit. The rest of the House are posturing or fiddling, while Rome burns perhaps?

Probably more wishful thinking. I accept your point, yet, we are where we are and would seem to be leaving the EU one way or another. The fact that it would be fair to say that the majority of the politicians would have voted to remain only to find themselves having to meet the wishes of the...

Might be a bit long but a good read, especially for Tom Alt-hate: Who knew the left had so much venom? Yes, Brexit has unleashed mass hatred – of liberals for the masses (Photo: Getty) Julie Burchill 17 June 2017 9:00 AM At the start of the year, a Facebook friend messaged me, telling me...

I think you will find he was French, the clue is in the name. It was a comment and equally applies to the UK?

Generally, I find that every time a subject is raised on here, there is a long thread of hysterical comments about how nasty the Tories are. Yes, Tory supporters state their case and answer back, but they seem to be able to do it in a more restrained, mature manner than you screamers.

Can't help but agree that the Bring back fox hunting' was bit naff but I could quote you many more from the recent Labour manifesto

In the spirit of peace and goodwill, here's yet another quote from days gone by: “The period which immediately precedes an election, and that during which the election is taking place, must always be considered as a national crisis. ... As the election draws near, the activity of intrigue and...

Of course, we're good neighbours, it's just the politicians and their supporters that let us down.

I would suggest that is total nonsense. Not the fact there was such a 'club' simply that you are judging it by different standards than existed at the time. To then extrapolate that into the motives of the present is where the absolute nonsense comes in. There's that old saying about apples and...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Quite why you feel the need to be so downright nasty escapes me, almost akin to the female Labour MP (name escapes) who recently had to gall to say that she couldn't ever bring herself to be next to a Tory MP. What's the matter with you people you're supposed to have ambitions to run the...

Of course. On the surface, at least, this looks like an commercial opportunity to me and if I were remotely associated with transport I would explore it.

Two or is three wrongs make a right then, or should that be left? We don't really know what the Nissan deal was but, we can be fairly sure that it would have been money well spent or promised. I've not seen anywhere that BAE themselves have asked for Government money so perhaps they are just in...
