This is better. Perhaps, we can agree there is no further need from either side to bother to pander to simple questions. Let's go further, keep things really simple, don't even ask.

Any idea how the graphs look if you remove the UK figures from within the EU ones? We are very close to the Swiss snip: Economic cooperation Switzerland and the UK are important to each other as trading partners and have close economic ties. Liberal economic systems and open markets are high...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I learn something new every day OG. Your viewpoint is the equivalent of Realism and all things wrong in the UK is the equivalent of a Tory dream world. Perhaps it's time for you to expand on this and tell us what your ideal world is, how it works, who runs it and exactly what it has to offer?

One for the conspiracy theorists, I suspect.

I totally agree, but the point is that it doesn't seem to be seen that way of late, with some Policemen being regarded as causing such deaths by their actions in chasing those that do fail to stop when requested? I guess we need this not-so-happy balance if we are not to become a Police state?

What a strange conversation. There's just a hint of McCarthyism here?

    I suspect not.

Such a good question, but maths isn't taught anymore, or at least not the way I learned it? Just incase that was little obtuse, everything seems to be binary nowadays with little, if any, thought as to the consequences of 'our' actions? What's Moped Gangs got to do with the Police (Filth) mowing...

I had wondered when I first read that, as they seem to have a far higher suicide rate? I don't say that in anyway other than factual as it would seem to fly in the face of happiness? That said I did have many good times in Stockholm some years ago. Great place, lovely people and generally very...

Totally agree with you, but, the best way to break the vicious circle is rather more complicated than has been suggested so far. Most of the politicians make the right noises and I could always cite joining the Army. Going to University is not the panacea it was hoped for. To my mind it's all...

It was rather tongue-in-cheek and even I have to admit to being more likely to be considered a mongrel, certainly by anyone that knows me! I wasn't born that far from Blackpool, my father even closer and he died earlier this year at 97, Mother is still going strong, again from Lancashire. I...

Are you absolutely sure about that? Let me remind you that mongrel dogs are generally far healthier than pedigree ones. They all look different too and don't even bark the same either - still like a good quality bone though.

If by that you mean people taking advantage then possibly - you find advantage-takers in all walks of life. No one, and I do mean no one, Likes to pay tax?

Really - blame it Brexit? Seems a bit convenient to me.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Come off it, this is just silly, petty nonsense. Obviously, I don't know the full story, anymore than you do, but I doubt either of the two felt hard done by.

No, I don't mean that at all! The only thing you could possibly say here is that the guy employed two people, paid them wages, arguably out of the taxes he would have paid on his profits if he hadn't employed them. OK they cleaned his house and did the garden. I'm sure they didn't feel hard done...

Almost a Robin Hood situation, rather than out and out corrupt?

There is abuse and will continue to be, whatever system we have. The fact that 'your' company was still able to make enough 'profit' to cover those additional wages might be wrong, yet - they were employed and would spend that money, locally one hopes? You didn't say they were illegal immigrants?

Would have thought that to be clear, even to an argumentative you?

I tend to agree with you, the whole thing should be simplified. KISS! Having a loose connection with a Trust (my wife) they do seem to be tightly controlled, certainly in the US, there's no way you would get away with putting domestic expenses through it or indeed anything remotely charitable...
