    700c conversion?

I'm afraid the complexity of the technical stuff about the Ezee motor is a bit lost on me - but I do know that I recently pedalled my 103kgs plus TWO 14AH batteries and heavy kit bag up a nearly one mile long average 20% hill - mostly needing to be in next to lowest out of 29 gears - huge...

    700c conversion?

Hi Mike This is exactly what I did when I wanted to convert my hybrid with 700c wheels. JH let me ride his ezee conversion against the 8fun, I was sold on the sheer grunt of the Ezee kit. Cornish hills - bring them on. Do it if you can.

Donor Bike for a new e-bike Conversion

If you are only going to use the bike on tarmac I would suggest you get as good a spec hybrid as you can afford. My Specialized Globe Pro ( well looked after but 7 years old before conversion ) with an Ezee kit is amazing. The 700c wheels with road tyres roll along easily and the 27 gears...

    Ebikes are fun!

Agree totally. Fun matters. Enjoy it and you'll keep doing it. And hopefully that relatively gentle regular exercise can do nothing but good. Works for me.

My thoughts on the Ezee mk2 250 watt kit

Great website JH. Link is fine. You certainly made it happen for me by fitting the Ezee kit to my Specialized Hybrid. I never realised cycling could be so much fun again. At 67 this year and with a few health issues, I'm now covering 20 - 30 miles most dry days (and a few wet ones) - and...

    POTHOLES

Don't know about you guys but I've had some very close encounters of late, specifically with water filled deep potholes. Had I not been going at a snails pace by good chance I'm certain one particular one would have put me in hospital. I then came across this web site which may also help...

    Hallo from Derby

P.S. Suppose I should have explained.......................the SUN is a bright shiny thing very occasionally spotted in the daytime sky. I seem to remember that it can make going for a bike ride a very pleasant experience.

    Hallo from Derby

Just a bit further down from Pete and we've even got our own swimming pool in the middle of the A39 --- and a really nice little breeze to keep us fresh --- gusting at around 60mph as I type. (Do we still 'type' nowadays?):) And the sun's going to come out on Sunday.......perhaps.

Any opinions welcome - kit type

I live not too far from Jackhandy and was able to try out his Ezee conversion on a 29er. I was SO impressed with the grunt from that motor, and the 5c discharge rate of the battery included in the kit, which allows you to take full advantage of that grunt (important that!), that I put an Ezee...

Sorry Guys, this new format is not working for Kudos

Excellent post. Thanks. Agree with everything you say. Also, to digress, as far as the battery related stuff is concerned, can anyone tell me why I never see the 'c' rating shown in battery descriptions. As I newbie I have only really found out by good fortune how important this can be.
