How to get higher top speed

Some people just come on forums to wind people up, then wonder why they don't get any help! Not a good way to start off I feel

Neighbor asked me not to lock our ebikes, and then insisted that we don't

Tell him to go away in jerky movements! I find it (very) hard to believe that any cleaner is going to be concerned about cleaning under a bicycle! If the bloke doesn't own the place, it's got absolutely nothing to do with him, he really needs to get a life.

    Oxygen s-cross mk2 4 digit code

I asked them when I first got mine, as was told that there was (now) no way to change the speed settings

Woosh Woosh Rio eMTB - alternatives

Not sure of the price of these, but I (along with several others on here) have bought an Oxygen S Cross MTB, which are, I think, a similar spec?

    Oxygen s-cross mk2 4 digit code

That's the MkII type, not the MkIII

    Oxygen s-cross mk2 4 digit code

As fr400 says, the small LCD is only fitted on the latest MkIII versions, one of which I recently bought. You can't input a code into this version to increase speed, nor can you fit a throttle. I have had a 'play' with mine, (having had very useful advice from vfr400 and Nealh on this forum) and...

    New ebike kit recommendations?

I think I clicked 'report' by mistake on my reply to you! I was just saying that I agree with you 100%!

    Battery care?

I'm probably opening up a can of worms here..... but having a new ebike (Oxygen S Cross MTB MkIII), I'm totally confused by advice regarding battery care. Oxygen themselves advise to keep it fully charged (ie topped up every time you use it) for maximum life, but others insist that you never...

    New ebike kit recommendations?

I guess a choice of pannier bag depends on how much you're carrying, but I just ordered a top box https://www.internet-bikes.com/en/77113-m-wave-amsterdam-easy-box-xl-19-liter-black/ I also found an app called CycleStreets, which uses cycle tracks/ paths where possible. Lock-wise, I got a good...

Would it be hard to ride my e-bike while wearing filtered earplugs? Is it legal?

Wearing earplugs is unlikely to be illegal- I'm sure there are lots of deaf people driving around. I think it's down to what you're comfortable with. If you can still hear what's going on around you, ie sirens, car horns etc, then I can't see a problem? If, however, it filters too much stuff...

I bought mine from; allaboutshopping.co.uk, and used discount code NEW10 for 10% discount (hopefully still current?) I paid £1485 for an S-Cross MTBIII with a 16ah battery. Delivery was within a few days. They were very helpful when I phoned for a progress check

    Oxygen S Cross bikes

I've had mine for a couple of weeks now, and very impressed with the quality and feel of the bike. My only gripe was that you can't use a throttle with the existing setup, but with a lot of help from members of this forum, I 'bit the bullet' and changed the controller and display to allow the...

Speedo problem (Oxygen S Cross MTB MkIII)

It does seem very short sighted of them, their response was basically that they are just complying with the law. Don't think it's going to help with future sales though

Speedo problem (Oxygen S Cross MTB MkIII)

Yes, not quite sure what happened there! Couldn't find the bits I was looking for...Will endeavour to keep it to one thread. I wouldn't have knowingly ignored your advice, so apologies for that.

Speedo problem (Oxygen S Cross MTB MkIII)

As VFR400 said, some of us (myself included), had already ordered the MkIII, and were totally unaware of the changes made by Oxygen. The changeover of parts didn't cost 'hundreds', but probably cost about £100. It's not £100 that I wanted to spend, but as I got a 10% discount off the bike (which...
