    Thank you all here for your help. I do apologies to chris_n but like d8veh said we all have to start somewhere. Also I did wire the fuse up fine 1 wire to positive of battery other to positive of discharge. But obviously it needed a higher fuse 25a but I didn't realise that as other batteries...

    Oh I'm with you now one wire from fuse goes to positive discharge terminal and the red wire from battery goes to other fuse wire. So basically it's like a in line fuse between red battery wire and fuse Yes very pleased with bike now as it has increased speed another 5mph. Plus lot lighter...

    Thanks d8veh I have also advertised them on a web site, just local, where buyer collects maybe I will get lucky. but not selling them too cheap as will use them myself for something. I am still waiting for new lithium battery to arrive, it was ordered on 9th Sept so shouldn't be too long now...

    I take it you mean Male/Female connectors I wont have a clue how to do all that. it would also mean. having to place both batteries in pannier, plus all wiring etc. also how would I be able to switch over to old batteries anyway. from lithium one if it got low.

    ok so that battery you posted link to will fit then ok, as i just assumed. when it says L W T meant length width and dept as just thought 220 length is ok same as depth 70 but didnt know 220*95*70 is same as L 220mm W 95mm and T 70mm can be as 220*70*95 so its ok to order that one...
