Help! What COMPLETELY LEGAL Ebike will get me up hills?

I can't believe they put Acera derailer on that thing. Also no rear suspension. It is a motorbike which is pretending to be a bike and as result it sucks at each category.

Following on from my introduction to this forum I have questions

Yes. No. Depends on your settings. Set to low power assist mode if you don't like it.

Help! What COMPLETELY LEGAL Ebike will get me up hills?

Makes me wonder if this is what they tell customers: "our bikes are legal because they have pedals. It has pedals, so it obviously is a bike. Simples!". OMG, I laughed so hard I spilled my tea. Have you seen their web page? It is like a worst nightmare coming true.

Help! What COMPLETELY LEGAL Ebike will get me up hills?

I agree with Saneagle. I bought a bike with hydraulic brakes long time ago and would never go back to vbrakes. Having that said there is a massive difference in performance between hydraulic brakes with Shimano brakes being by far the best out all types that I have tried.

Conversion kit to make an e bike.

Over the years Woosh has built a solid reputation on this forum. I have seen many positive comments and not even a single negative. So if you are willing to pay a little extra for first class customer service then this is the way to move forward.

Conversion kit to make an e bike.

Yose is good value for money. Support is lacking and I had to buy few bits and pieces to install it properly, but after kit is installed it does the job well.

I think you answered your own question. In my opinion it is best to avoid closed proprietary systems with hard to replace parts.

Nfixed ebike kits based in London

Actually it sounds good. Just to good to be true. I see why AI running investment fund might buy large quantities of those bikes. All what they need for it to work is perpetuum mobile patent. On the other hand battery I have already has "no need to charge" mode. Other two modes are "in need of...

4 dead after battery causes fire at New York City e-bike shop that spreads to apartments

I keep batteries in the shed. I prefer to risk them being stolen than to risk a fire in my house.

Nfixed ebike kits based in London

In short it is much more effective to have road bike without "no need to charge" kit installed. As added bonus one can save 1k. But there is a good chance we are missing something and they could get next Nobel price.

Regenerative braking might top up battery slightly. There is no way you can fully charge battery with that. ...unless I am missing something.
