Will this EU rule lead to easily replaceable/repairable ebike batteries?

"That rule, by the way, covers all appliances and will mean that if you own the gadget, you should be able to remove and replace its battery yourself. "

Another redesign on the cards for iPhone as EU rules call for removable batteries

Maybe in Europe, but one suspects there will be exemptions for eBikes, mobility scooters, cars etc.

In the UK, no chance.

UK Politicians are far too easily 'influenced' by business bosses 'donating' money etc. I would mention Boris here, but he has gone for now .........

All that noise and just a 90 day suspension... Benny Hill will return when the heat's off, of course.

I can't wait for next general election. I hope whole nation will flush the toilet and move on.
Dream on. It doesn't matter who you vote for, It's Black Rock, State Street and Vanguard Group that make the decisions and run the Western world. There's no way of voting them out. Black Rock alone has $20 trillion dollars of assets! Didn't you see the latest James O'Keefe expose after his organisation infiltrated Black Rock and got one of their top guys boasting about it on camera?
