If money is tight, perhaps you could consider TSDZ2b? You can get it from UK source for around £200.

What do you think of my new bike?

Looks great. Mudguards look a bit odd though... How about repairability?

    New battery

Quite a decent size and they come with handy feature as they heat themselves when temperature is below 5C. Makes me wonder if one can remove seatpost and saddle, mount it to rack and just seat on it. It would make a very comfortable ride during winter ;)

Suggestion that delivery companies should check their riders bikes are legal !!!!!!

Have a look yourself. Scroll down to very bottom to reference 7 https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/thirdpartyliability I checked quite a few insurance companies and all have very similar policies with missing key words that you highlighted. This is also the reason why I decided not to take...

Suggestion that delivery companies should check their riders bikes are legal !!!!!!

Is there a law saying what insurance companies can and can't insure? I am sure if they deny your claim you could put up a good fight, but average person probably wouldn't stand a chance. I don't like what they do at all, but I can't say they mislead people. On contrary, they are very clear...

Suggestion that delivery companies should check their riders bikes are legal !!!!!!

But they don't say which bike is legal and which is not. They say what bikes are covered by their insurance and as you have said most ebikes are excluded.

Suggestion that delivery companies should check their riders bikes are legal !!!!!!

You are quite an optimist, you know? I am not :). This is exact wording: "the electric motor should have a maximum power output of 250 watts or less " With third party insurance claim as high as 20m they might quite easily say: "contract is a contract and actually your bike max power goes well...

Suggestion that delivery companies should check their riders bikes are legal !!!!!!

Exactly. I don't like it, but we little people have very limited choices. We can comply or ignore and try to ride below radar. Speaking of compliance I think I will have to buy a bloody sticker as I don't have displayed maximum assisted speed anywhere. :) Interestingly insurance companies sell...

Suggestion that delivery companies should check their riders bikes are legal !!!!!!

Please don't tell me you still believe law make some sense. Law is just a number of boxes you must tick or hoops to jump through to get "legal" certificate. Yes, most of it doesn't make sense. Bike with 250W rated power can use 500W and still be legal.

Suggestion that delivery companies should check their riders bikes are legal !!!!!!

Personally I think this appeal does make sense. Companies should be accountable for what their employees do and what equipment they use. They also should provide proper training.

Parking a bike in the rain

I am not sure what you have in mind Guerney. As far as I remember your bike is a folder and doesn't have front suspension, so it is an entire different story.

Parking a bike in the rain

That is not what I meant Saracen. If you attach water bottle like you did, there is a risk your wheel can hit bottle, cause accident and potential serious injury. As per bag on crossbar - by attaching it like you did, you significantly increase standover height, yet again risking injury this...

Parking a bike in the rain

Ok... if you like battery wrapped in rubbish bag then it is your choice. I would move water bottle somewhere else if I were you (unless your fork doesn't work). Also bag on crossbar is in very unfortunate position.
