    Lidl Cycling Gear

I've got the trekking saddle and find it very comfy but my problem is I can't get it back far enough on the 2 metal rails underneath, probably caused by my Cannondale seatpost. Can anyone recommend a replacement seatpost to suit this saddle?

Kudos Rapide gets 108 miles out of a 10.4 Ah battery.

I just figured out over this weekend that my charger uses just over 20w ontop of what it puts into the battery, so given my charges usually take 2 hours I can take 40wh off the power monitor figures which puts me at 14wh/mile with headwinds and 10wh/mile without so I am in the average range of...

I believe if you set the charger to li-ion mode it charges to 4.1v per cell. Might be worth a try but monitor it the first time.

I may have messed up with this. I've just bought 44v 6.6aH battery = 290w I put my Watt meter on with my current old 36v battery and one direction into work tells me I used about 3.5aH and/or 130w (on 36v) So to get to work and home should I have got a 7ah battery (I don't have) or at least 260w...

Kudos Rapide gets 108 miles out of a 10.4 Ah battery.

I got todays 10mile ride home down to 140w or 14wh/mile. Maybe no crisps and the extra coffee did it and saved me about 40w.

Not being confident about changing the battery plugs again I will get one of these series leads instead and change the male output plug to XT60 or Anderson. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271531992054

I couldn't resist. 2x 6s 6600mah on the way to me for about £22 each delivered. 6600mah will hopefully be enough to get me to work and back when I eventually start using them.

Which charger did you go for? Have just noticed the batteries have the XT90 plugs, did you go for a convertor lead or spare XT90's to make your own? I've also just noticed how cheap the 6s 10ah and 8ah bricks are too, I'm so tempted but I just don't need them.

Did you go for the LiHV ? Was just thinking whether the nominal 'storage' charge volts will be the same as normal or whether that will increase too?

d8veh, do you know what the max voltage an S12S can take? I was thinking of trying 15s with a Q128H motor.

I might try laying off the pretzels and nibbles for a while and see if my wH per mile drops to the average but I can't see it happening. (me lying off the nibbles I mean)

My mains power monitor thing tells me my battery takes around 180 watts to recharge for 10miles so that puts me way over average using pas level 3 and 4 at around 18w per mile?

I tried one of the cheap B6AC chargers and a problem I found with it was because the power supply and charge unit were together in the same housing is got very hot so I switched to ones with seperate power supplies for the heat issues. Those ones you are looking at do look a bit better vented...

Heck You could make up 10s (37v) 10ah battery for £58 + about £6 delivery. Tempting, shame I already have 2 sets which cost over double that, rigged up ready to start using when needed.

10'000 miles (Or 16093km sounds better)

This got me thinking today just how long have I spent sat pedaling on the bike? Well lets say aprox 40mins per 10mile trip done twice a day 80mins per day nearly 7 hours per week about 30 hours per month -------------------------- or in total nearly 28 days sat on a bike no wonder I need a comfy...

    HobbyKing XT90 plugs

Oops,I've just checked my purchase history and it is XT60 I bought too. One thing I found with them though was they were initially a bit stiff to connect/disconnect and needed to gently rub the end of the plug with sandpaper to loosen it a bit. I do find Andersons easier to solder and make though.

    HobbyKing XT90 plugs

I use XT90 and think they are better for regular connect/dissconnect's than Anderson's. Unless your good at soldering to the thick battery wire though I would suggest the small cables which change from battery style plug one end and XT90 the other. Also you can leave the controller plug as...
