I seem to recall someone posting about a new job and cycling to work in Milton Keynes with a similar daily charge for cycle lock up but it also had nice clean shower facilities.. google tells me the MK train station also has individual bike lockups available to rent for £68 p.a +key deposit...

Help with my first conversion kit.

Fwiw i bought and fitted a kit from yose-power last summer, the install was straight forward with just a niggle issue with my el-cheapo donor bike having a crank a tad too wide for the standard pas sensor shipped requiring a £10 replacement sensor . I was initially disappointed with the 4mph...

Disabled cyclist; with one bad choice behind her, needs help with a new bike

tldr.. But i did once over the posts, Might be a daft Question, but since the Range requirements seem to dictate a larger heavier battery, which in turn hampers OP's ability to lift up on and down off a train. could a 2 x battery solution provide op with 1 x smaller lighter battery for a...

Help! Help with faulty bike - What can I do with it?

Another one needing help choosing - possibly eStarli e20.8 Play

Im unclear? do you want a foldable bike to take on the train/tube with you or an ebike to park up at the station all day while your at work? In either case a diy conversion may be your best bet imho for a foldable bike the quality options are wider when looking at non-ebikes, and the off the...

    Centre stand options..

Its just the fact that pre conversion i needed to drop down into 2nd gear on some of the slopes to crawl up to the summit and thats with a 36T chain ring.. I'm sure its within your capacity to ride comfortably, i think i would struggle without battery power and the motor to back me up tho.

Well I have gone from undecided if a sub £10 ebay-china import special was worth the punt and am now considering something 3-4x the price.. Good job i asked ??? I think i may take a punt on the Ursus Jumbo via amazon, and should there be any chain or fit conflicts, take advantage of the no...

    Centre stand options..

Thanks for the insight and links..My search so far has been focused on the cheaper end of the market until now tbh, but that 2nd stand that expands when 'down' looks like a premium solution worth the cost and not just trading on a brand etc.. Must admit i was thinking replacement of the side...

    Centre stand options..

Has anyone experience with any 3rd party centre stands suitable for fitting to a standard cycle with a rear hub motor? Im considering one to aid in post shopping loading of the bikes bags and boxes, the shift in centre of gravity when loading up the bike upsets the stability of the side stand...
