My Delite has a chain tensioner as it doesn't have the skinny skewer but large diameter bar that screws into the frame as on a motorbike. A much better job in my opinion and proven by the 8500 plus miles done without a problem.

The original KMC chain kept breaking and was replaced at a couple of hundred with another KMC and that has lasted another 3000 plus miles. I thought at the time and still do they had a bad batch.

I've always found the bikers I meet think it's good I am getting out on a bike and not sitting in front of the TV. Perhaps a younger person may not have the same response, advantage to the aged or we have a nicer group of people in these parts.
