The R&M Birdy is an interesting design. I’ve ordered the MiRider so will let you know how I get on. The test ride was good and sthe professional reviews are good too, although you’re never quite sure if they’ve actually ridden them or just cut and paste from another reviewer.

Take a look at the MiRider. I’m 5’6” and found it very comfortable and easy to ride. The naysayers mention the small battery but one magazine reviewer in the Peak District confirmed the range to be within the expectations at 29 miles.

I called in at Oxygen last week and they have an impressive range of good looking bikes. Sadly, the disinterested shop assistant didn’t really inspire confidence so I’ll pay a return visit and try again.
