It has two wires going to pas sensor both wires are blue

In his post andrewelectricbike1 stated that a switch or throttle could be wired to the two wires coming from the crank for pedal assist and run to the handle bars for instant power, bypassing the peddle assist on the Giant Suede e . I would like to know if this thumb throttle would do the same...
