I am having difficulty removing the casing around the battery on my Giant suede-battery pack.jpgSuede, I removed all the screws but could not pull it off'
I do not want to force it and break it, any ideas.

I've never opened up one of those, but if it's centre seam with the case in two roughly equal parts, some of those use tongues latching the two halves at the seam. Try prising one side out and away from the other along on of the long sides and see it that releases at that point. You may need to prise each half in turn to find the one willing to open outwards. If successful you can work around the case to separate it completely. Don't worry about breaking the latches, the case screws will hold it back together afterwards as I've found with similar batteries previously.

I have split it and it is loose, but cannot seem to get it away from the frame. I thought some one may have done it in the past, some one may know. thanks for your help flecc

I think I may have misunderstood your query, that battery should come off the bike without opening it's case. Most makes use a slide mount, but Giant use a top lock or catch in the frame tube above the battery. With that released, the battery tilts sideways to the left for lifting out.

This photo shows the "rod" locking into the top of the battery from that frame tube:

That I don't know Rob, Giant's cowlings are normally only fixed with screws. I can only guess that there are latching tongues as well as I described earlier. Why not ask a Giant e-bike (hybrid) dealer using the link I gave before. One with Suede experience may well help with advice since it's not a current model.
