An incorrect speed distance readout shouldn’t be an issue. The sceptic in me suspects that Bosch wouldn’t make it that easy to defeat their speed restriction system.

Thanks Nev, that’s certainly a possibility. I don’t know a great deal about turbo training, but she says the wheel on, friction dives are noisy. There may not be any choice if the magnet idea doesn’t work though.

Thank you flecc. I’d really like to try and get it sorted for this lady. It’s a fairly new Bosch Performance Line, so I think I need to try the magnet on crank idea before she commits to buying a turbo trainer. They are quite expensive, so this needs to be tested.
