If u going to break the law u might as well get 1000w or 2000w. Ive got a 350w bbs01 its great for my regular cycling but u always want more...Just bought a bbshd kit from electron cycles, tuned to 1700w... for a naughty bike.

Absolutely agree.Glad i got the 350w ,whenever im not hitting the throttle for the full 18- 18.5 amps it feels only ok ish

Thanks peter thats a helluva whack.I suppose its only wortwhile on low cost items.I was not charged on the kt controller i bought for example.Must be different thresholds of charges.Have you seen any with euro based bbshd stock?

its hard to diagnose these things.It may come to getting them to replace the controller.Eclipse said changing controllers usually solves problems. My issue started after a few drenchings.Throttle removed solved ,new throttle all ok.more drenchings,back again.Removing throttle in rain i believe...

Thanks tommie.Ive considered ali express.Bought a kt controller once ,arrived in a week .But something like this will attract the dreaded 20 % customs duty. Also when eclipse had to replace my bbs01 controller it was only 4 quid to post the old one back .

Im amazed at those distances.I dont get that from a 17.4ah on a bbs01 350w.Decent quality i think from eclipse samsung 29E cells.
