yeah more of the time than trails ,but i have chunky mtb tyres on it all the same.im not bothered about squeezing a tiny bit of extra speed/economy out of it.it can still go well over 30mph on the flat when i want it to.
loads of people on here have bikes over the uk limit, they are commonly...
well you asked ,so u have the information.whatever u decide u will get what u pay for . You can reach and cruise at 22mph with ease, in the lowest PAS settings on a HD and have all that extra power in reserve. best with 52v .you can use standard brakes on any E bike as the motors stopped when...
its printed on the bottom in white paint.quite small.it rubs off easily with a bit of wet and dry. a stroke of black paint an youd never know there was anything there, especially once theres scratches an dirt all over.if ur particularly bothered u can cover the whole flat bottom of the motor with...
no it cant they hard code it. i go through phases ,im riding the bbs01 alot at the mo.its a great kit.You feel more like ur riding a pushbike with benefits.with the bbshd u cant resist turning the power up. Once you have an electric bike u soon find u want to have more power. So im just saying...
ive got the 350w bbs01b same motor in its natural state.the 250w is the toned down version for compliance with the law. the 250w controller cant have its Amp rating programmed to the full 18amp as its hard coded. the unrestricted one can be changed to its stated 20amps max,tho ive left it at...
i can only say from owning a bbs01b 350w thats its quiet like the video.with programming to 100% keep current & ridden on max assist (18amp to 250s 15amp) i get 20 miles out of a 17.4ah battery. im 14 stone, the speed restrictions off,so 20-22 mph ON FLAT TERRAIN. Also hilly here in west...
Yes its good to have a kit you can move from one bike to another. Remember it will come with economy programmed in.Depending on the vendor as to what but a virtual certainty the keep current will be 60%. Despite what u read it will pretty much be giving this all the time, not just when peddling...
eclipse warranty support is good.i had a throttle play up from rain.replaced straight away.controller issue from the wet throttle.sent in, tested and replaced along with the bus cable that developed a fault.
my 52volt shark pack 5p14s (70 cells) means u cld cram a 7p10s 36v in one of those, so...
Ah your new screenshot is clearer. Its hardware version V5.1 i thought it was VS 1.well thats light years on from my V1.1. i thought it odd as it was a new bike, to have older hardware/firmware versions. Maybe thats the issue, the current config tools are out of date for the latest.
i did just...
It just allows certain things that are nothing to do with controller programming to be set.for instance u can change the bikes wheel diameter and the speed limiter as i said. it allows PAS to be set to 3,5 or 9 levels, BUT the amount of amps and motor rpm for those levels has to be programmed...
yes u can change some basics via the display advanced settings by inputting a code.like disabling the speed restriction.numbers of PAS levels and wheel diameter.but that has nothing to do with programming the controller.
you have everything u need magnus.dont buy a new display .hes totally not the one to ask...connect the display not the controller indeed, what a chump.no your best bet is to buy another cable, tho the connections look fine as fordulike explained.this is such an odd issue u are having, u have the...
been researching til my brain bled, without success. This is something i cant remember if new or always been there. Really noticing it now tho . When i engage PAS or throttle from a standstill. There is always a kind of electronic/mechanical hum/whirring sound/sensation as if somethings slipping...
Ive been confused by this before.my MTB ,18amp bbs01 mid drive on max PAS (KC 100% ) ,gets left behind on hills by my wifes hub drive.Which i shunt pimped to 19amps. Its a 20" wheel ,single speed (T16). while i have to drop a cpl gears lower.
its not actually the throttle that gets permanently ruined by the rain, but the controller. Before I found out about the waterproofing issue with these throttles i had 2 get wet in rain and damage the controller. Both have worked fine since(waterproofed of course) unlike the controller which was...
why not load karls special sauce from the list of saved profiles.make sure to change low voltage cutoff to 31v , max current to 15 and stop delay to at least 10,important or PAS will be slow to kick in.write flash an see if you get the flash successfully written pop up.
everything is working fine til the write to flash.so this is occuring like fordulike says because of some impossible settings.once you have settings that comply with paramaters the motor is designed to function within it will write them.
