thanks.i suppose you still get sag near the end ,but not so much during the latter half of a large battery as the individual cells are less drawn upon

    Newbie......hello

without my watt meter installed im not sure whether its made much difference over its 18amp factory setting. its definitely got more oomph than the 250w.ive tried a friends 250w. whats more important is setting the 'keep current' to 100% over the typical factory set 60%. Torque is the more...

Help identifying rear hub motor please

Yes thats a good point.Ive certainly noticed with a 36v system that drop in performance as the battery gets more and more drained.now ive got 2 batts, 30ah on my bbs01 run parallel ,total 11p. do you think the lower amps each parallel is having to provide has a beneficial effect in staving off...

Help identifying rear hub motor please

Ur confusing amp hours AH (capacity of the battery) with AMPS the current the controller is delivering. Higher AMPS is what u need to increase speed and torque. The only thing that 20ah battery will give u is nearly double the miles of your 11ah one. post a photo of the controller and its rating.

    Bafang BBS01B Battery

id research if i was u.just something id read somewhere.prob depends on the bikes frame.both my 42t narrow wides only just clear the bottom dropout.in fact i had to put washers behind the bbs01 one to get it to clear by 2mm otherwise it was barely a mm from catching, the bbshd one from electron...

    Newbie......hello

Eclipse bikes are good.reliable warranty support. 350w bbs01b is a good kit ive done 2400 miles so far on one. The 250w is the uk legal dumbed down version of the motor hard coded to 15amps.you CAN NOT increase this with a programming cable .the 350w can have 20amps max. the speed restriction...

    Bafang BBS01B Battery

yeah get a precie alps 42t. chainline will be better, closer in.you will never get a chain jump off with the narrow wide s ,those factory things are total shite ,an too big for hills.puts more strain on the controller,an harder maneuvering.

    BBSO1 diagnosis?

46volt battery u mean ?.the bbs01 is designed for 36v ,you probably blew the controller. You would expect it to go while in use tho. one of my bikes ,a hub motor with the generic chinese controller. i pimped up the shunt to get more power.it worked fine for some time. one day i stopped for a...

Help identifying rear hub motor please

i was assuming it was one of those regular silver box type controllers that usually pair with hub motors so Nealh is probably right.so unfortunately you may not have much option but to use the bike as is. seems so many people inc myself after buying a legal/near legal power bike soon realise...

Help identifying rear hub motor please

So the display is compatible for 48v. Get the controller out.it will either say 24v/36v or 36v/48v in which case u could splash out on a 48v battery and get 33% more power . otherwise if its a 36v controller and says something like 7-15amps then you can add a little solder to the shunt to...

    Bafang BBS01B Battery

theoretically if u can wire two 18v together ie in series ud have 36volts so yes.but ud only have 5ah ( u said they are 5ah),not much.if u then connected 2 of these pairs in parallel ud get 10ah of 36v. However ud have to see what cells were in them and look them up on the databases to see...
