    Nyon or Kiox retrofit?

I went out for a ride today to try out the New Nyon. It started off well but then I had issues. When you press the on button it take about 15 seconds to start up to the main screen. I find the screen to be a bit sluggish. There isn’t an instant response when you tap a button or icon, there is a...

    Nyon or Kiox retrofit?

My Nyon was delivered yesterday. Dropped it into the Bosch Service guy in the afternoon along with the bike and picked it up this afternoon. He said it took him about an hour to fit. All seems to be working as far as I can see. I’ve linked it to the eBike Connect app on my phone which took about...

Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro (2022) Trapeze

Another way of identifying the different years is the front mudguard attachments. On the 2021 model they have bands that wrap around the front forks whereas the 2022 model has mountings screwed into the front forks.

    Nyon or Kiox retrofit?

Interesting. It does look pretty straight forward but with my bike being just a week old I think I’ll let the professionals do that bit. :)

    Nyon or Kiox retrofit?

I ordered by Nyon from the USA. I couldn’t find anyone with stock in the UK and those I spoke to said all production of them was going to build bikes so after market supply is non-existent. They said they couldn’t get any dates when they would be available and it certainly wouldn’t be until next...

Should the headset need adjusting on a new bike

Just tightened the headset following a couple of YouTube videos and the knocking sound is gone. It was actually very loose and took a full turn before it started to tighten up. Thanks for the advice.

    Nyon or Kiox retrofit?

I spoke to two local Bosch service centres and they both seemed quite knowledgeable about the Nyon even asking where I was getting it from because they can’t get any until next year. I guess they vary just like car service centres, although you would think they would have some idea. Did you...

    Nyon or Kiox retrofit?

I’m expecting my Nyon v2 to be delivered next week. Upgrading from an Intuvia on a Cube Kathmandu. The main reason for getting it over the others was the nav with map and the tighter integration with the motor and battery being able to show possible range radius on the map based on battery...

Should the headset need adjusting on a new bike

Thanks, I’m sure it’s the headset as it’s more of a clunk than a rattle. I’m just surprised it needs adjusting on a brand new bike.

So who has ordered a new ebike?

Ordered a Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 625 for my wife on the 18th October and it arrived today. All went together nicely but there is a knocking in the headset so will be tightening it tomorrow.

Should the headset need adjusting on a new bike

The headset was already assembled, all I had to do was attach the handlebars. I just thought it would already have been tightened properly. I’ll do what you suggest, thanks.

Should the headset need adjusting on a new bike

I received a new Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 625 today. I‘ve never bought a new bike in a box to assemble myself before so wasn’t sure what to expect. The front wheel was separate and the handlebars had to be fitted even though all the cables were connected. It was all pretty straight forward and...

Cube Kathmandu Hybrid One 500 or Giant Fathom E+ 2?

Based on your requirement of commuting and some trail riding I would go with the Kathmandu.

    Cube Kathmandu and Racktime

Thanks, I'll have a look at those. I may need to have a bag on as well as panniers so will look around to see what is available.
