NCM Moscow 29 (ex Leon Cycles (leon.de)0 via eBay

First a bit of background which should allow you to determine the relevance and value of my opinion... I am 70, weigh ca.93kg and ca.1.85m tall. In my youth I was a regular bike rider. From the age of about 50 to 62, I rode a MTB on country lanes where I live for about 30km or so most summer...

    Battery health help

I'm not sure I understand what is meant by 80% capacity. Taking as an example a 36v battery which will be fully charged at 42v and which will be unusable when the voltage, controlled by the BMS, drops to 30v or so. Is the 80% of 42v (ie about34v) or 80% of {42-30} + 30 (ie about40v)?

    Throttles allowed?

"As of a couple of weeks ago it has become legal to put a throttle onto an ebike. Type approval costs £55.00, we can arrange if anyone is interested in a Wisper with full throttle. " Does this mean a supplier/manufacturer would pay for approval of the first item and all subsequent sales would...

E Bike Electric Hybrid Road Bike Lithium-Ion Battery 36v SRAM Gears NEW Aerobike ***£19.94***

The £19 headline price is a con; it's probably just the mudguards that you can get for the price quoted, but if you make the bike selection it looks pretty well priced.

Replace 2 wire motor cutout switch with three wire Minshine in-cable device

Thanks to all repondents. Reading round this, it seems I can achieve what I want with a bit of electronics - a transistor and maybe a relay. Selected parts on order and I'll report back reults once fitted.

Replace 2 wire motor cutout switch with three wire Minshine in-cable device

Thanks again for your response Woosh. I don't have internal wiring, but don't see why it would be any messier to run a wire from the in-cable sensor to the control unit than is currently the case where wires are run from the brake lever switches to the controller...and wouldn't the device that...

Replace 2 wire motor cutout switch with three wire Minshine in-cable device

Thank to you both for your replies. Is there any way I can use this (Minshine) kind of sensor if the only (obvious) connection is a two wire "make" via the existing in-lever switch?

Replace 2 wire motor cutout switch with three wire Minshine in-cable device

I would like to replace the current two wire (presumably normally open) brake activated switches on my ebike with a Minshine (model MS-BK-1R) in-cable sensor as I'm changing the brake levers to integrated brake and gear shifters. So far as I can tell, my control box has input for a two wire...

    First ebike conversion kit recommendations...

As I've noted elsewhere, you could do a lot worse than buy a Voilamart 250w front hub drive (ca.£125) and 10Ah battery for ca.£160. My thinking was that this would be a cheap taster and I could upscale (at considerable expense) in due course. In fact I'm very happy with my conversion and have...

Any feedback on NCM Moscow and or Moscow +

Search of this site drew a blank, but apologies if I missed existing review feedback and comments. The bike gets good feedback on Amazon, though is currently not available from that source, but could be bought from Germany. Price and spec seem remarkable, I'd like to see a user/expert review...
