This seems typical of the service provided by Leon UK, whereas I, and other contributors to this site, have received excellent service from the German parent company. I'm sure once you get the issues sorted out you will be impressed by the bike and its performance.

I follow the mantra of not storing a fully charged battery for an extended period, and generally start charging in the small hours in preparation for a 09h00 ride....but..... Can anyone cite original scientific research that supports this approach?

I have previously reported an inexpensive method for tuning the NCM Moscow so that the speed at which the assistance cuts out is raised and flat spots on deccelaration are removed. The development of thecode is described in a thread on pedelecforum.de and all credit to those contributing to it...

Hi Kevin, Good choice, worth sticking out for..I've had a Moscow (regular) 29" for about 2 years...just coming up to 10000 km. No issues other that wear and tear - chains, gear cables and a new cassette. If/when you obtain you may be interested in improving its performance. Look at my postings...

Unfortunately not. The fix is applicable only to NCM (Das-kit) e bikes.

There is no need to change the display. Increased cut-off speed, better accelaration and removal of the 25 -> 20 kph flat spot are all achievable at much less cost than fitting a new display. I have sent you a pm about this.

I think the OP's contact with them last year was the exception rather than the rule. Many correspondents here and elsewhere report failure to engage. I have always found the parent company Leon Cycles in Germany helpful and would suggest contacting them, though others have found their service...

I spent some time last year trying to get the the device described in the OP to work on a generic bike, but without success . The OP author seems to have gone into hiding and Woosh who were involved in supporting some of the early development were not able to give me any further help or...

Right way up when at top moving forward or bottom moving back! Do you also have to make sure you don’t put the chain on inside out?

Methinks e-bike speed links will be regular ones with fancier packaging indicating their use on e-bikes but with an inflated price ;-)
