    Dodgy batteries ?

I have a battery tester. I've bought very many batteries, mainly at the cheap Chinese end of the spectrum. I never found one that had less capacity than the listing. The only thing I noticed was the different amount of sag in use, particularly when the battery was near empty. Have you tried GTF...

Alternative Display and Controller for NCM (DAS-KIT)

Which model do you have? Did you retrofit the throttle? Which country are you in as NCM offer differently tuned versions under the same name in different countries? When you use the code 8088 does that automatically derestrict the bike or just allow you to adjust parameters to achieve this?

    Looking to buy E-bike

Personally from my experience I prefer Urbet Nura Bikes as it has a lot of advanced features like they are quickly chargeable, with a 7.2 KW battery, come with an ABS System, and have a mileage coverage of a whopping 140 km/h. I bought my electric motorbike from EMX Motors LLC because they have...

    Am I being ripped off?

But isn't the declared steepness the Sine of the angle rather than the Tangent? Thus 1 in 1 would be vertical and a 45 degree hill would be 1 in 1.14

Piggy-backing PAS signal to send Cadence data to Bike computer

The "cycle computer" is a free Android app. named SuperCycle: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.osborntech.supercycle&hl=en_US&gl=US and I unreservedly recommend it for logging in-ride date It accepts a Bluetooth signal for heart rate, speed and cadence from a range of...

Piggy-backing PAS signal to send Cadence data to Bike computer

I recognise that there will be CADENCE data only when I'm pedalling. I can't see how one would derive heart rate data from the PAS!

    Camera to record near misses

Once every couple of weeks or so someone overtakes me with a gap well under a metre. Ideally a camera would record both front and rear and would enable me to submit proof to my local plod. Can anyone recommend a suitable camera - ideally at a reasonable ie <£50 price?

Piggy-backing PAS signal to send Cadence data to Bike computer

Does anyone have any thoughts on tapping and processing the PAS signal and sending the processed signal by bluetooth (?) to a bicycle computer. This might be a tidier, and certainly more elegant, solution, than using a separate magnet on the crank and a sensor on the seat tube or chain-stay.

    Uneven tyre wear

I don't really think so. There are as many puddles after rain in the centre of the roads as elsewhere!

    Uneven tyre wear

Thanks to Andy-Mat and Sturmey for their input... I will reverse the rear tyre the next time I have a puncture and monitor whether the wear evens up or not. I'm not sure I can buy into the "Turning more to the left" hypothesis. If this was an explanation, I would expect the non drive side to...

    Uneven tyre wear

In the attached pic I show my rear (driven) 29 x 2.5 Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyre. The has done somewhere between 5000 and8000km - I don't have a record of when it was fitted. The tyre has been kept inflated at 50psig. Wear is much greater on the driven side. I have not noticed this previously...

Di Lusso E-Plus Unisex Hybrid Electric Bike argos special

My experience is that Semi metallics are both more effective and have a longer life than resin/organics. I would be interested in other's views.
