Reccomend me a cheap threadless fork please

Hey so basicly im not convinced the 250W cyclotricity fronthub kit is actually 250w. The motor runs up to 20 mph on setting 5 and it destroyed my alluminium fork in less than 2 weeks. With this in mind I am now in search of a new 700c steel fork that can handle potentially 350W/500W in the...

    That's Cheating!

Hey so I seen these around a few times with you posting going to events with your Ebike. How much are they banned, obviosly they will be banned at competive race events. But are there many events that you can take your ebike or is it like one or two dont ban them?

    That's Cheating!

In london the roads are basicly a race its what I find makes cycling in the city fun. Thing is to keep up with roadies I still have to work my ass off to be able to keep up with them so wouldn't really consider it cheating. People who havn't ridden ebike just seam to think that an ebike makes...

Anyone running alloy forks with front hub motors?

Hey so I have moved my kit over to my specialised sirrus and damn the brakes on it are amazing can really feel the V brakes compared to my previous calipers and they stop it really well. However the guy at the local bike shop who filled and fitted the motor for me has told me that the forks...

Do ebikes take the fun out of cycling ?

Another thing that ebikes can be useful for is a re-entry into cycyling. Ride an ebike for a year try and push it so you can reach normal bike speeds. After about a year you can switch over to a normal bike if thats your thing. Even with the assistance you still have to work so you build muscle.

    Ideal gearing for ebike

Ok so I am going to be switching the kit over to a better bike (specialised sirrus with V brakes and loads lighter). Now in regards to gears would I gain more using them or going single speed. Do you tend to use your gears when climbing hills like you would on a normal bike or just power...

Difference between 250w vs 350w Bafang 8Fun hub motor

The cyclotricity 250w fronthub kit goes at 19 mph at stock (Dont know how the hell they get away with this, selling a street legal kit that goes to 19 mph). But you can set the max speed to 17 mph with the lcd controller if you want for legal limits.

    Ideal gearing for ebike

Hey so I was wondering what the ideal gearing for an ebike is as its heavier. My bike weighs about 20kg and is very hard to get it going, I think its actually harder work sometimes than if I was on a normal bike (Although im going at about 20 mph which I couldn't achieve that easily without the...

speculation: Does brexit make the ebike moped law null and void?

Speaking of which are ebike mopeds worth it? Do you just need to get a cbt and register the bike?

Do ebikes take the fun out of cycling ?

I really doubt that with our stupid regulations. Most ordinary people are not gonna pick a bike that is slower, heavier and requires charging and electrical maintenance. Over a cheap road bike that goes at the same speed. We are happy to overclock, but dongles and some are happy to outright...

Do ebikes take the fun out of cycling ?

And im sure it feels great for an old or disable person who used to ride road bike but doesn't have the strength to power along at 10-15 mph uphill to be able to still do that with a little help from a little friend.

Do ebikes take the fun out of cycling ?

I think ebikes are equally as fun as a normal bike tbh. Except they make you feel better than you are. I always hated been sped past by litterally everyone from an old 1980s workhorse to people on carbon racers. Now my ebike is a stock legal one, it does however cut out at 18-19 mph maybe...

    Help me lose bike weight

    Help me lose bike weight

Hey so my bike was about 13kg. No idea what it weighs now but its unbearably heavy, when loaded up with my deliveroo bag it will often try and topple over and its really hard to get it back up. It also feels a bit unstable at slow speeds. Should I look into losing weight off the bike or just...

Can you mix and match components?

Ok just did it myself quickly the max I saw on the lcd was 19 mph. It may go even higher if I test it properly with 2 people. Guess that explains why I can keep up with all but the best road bikes. On another note as cyclotricity provided me this as stock will I be fine riding it legalwise...
