What kind of battery is it? lf it's a lithium one it doesn't matter about fully discharging it before you recharge. They do say to fully charge it before the first use though.

l have to say l did think the same as the O/P because my Kona Ebike cost more than my KTM Duke 390. And you get a lot more hardware for your money with the KTM. Some Ebikes cost over £12,000....as much as a car. l guess in a way it's like watches. l've got a lovely watch which cost £300 but...
