Who can remember these two top of the range bicycles.

At least the bikes frame would cope. They weighed a ton each those bikes.

    Destricted Kalkhoff Sahel i360?

Thank you. I have no idea about how we go about campaigning for such a change, perhaps someone already is doing so? I'm not a mad law breaking speed freak. I ride an e-bike because I'm ill.

I have no idea how to go about that? any guidance appreciated Every time I go out on my e-bike round here my max speed is always between 35 and 40 mph.

    Destricted Kalkhoff Sahel i360?

I just find this stance to slightly faster e-bikes really odd when it's coming from e-bike riders. A casual observer might think "hmm look at all these e-biker concerns about these 20 mph machines, I guess they must be really dangerous powerful beasts, perhaps we should slow them down even more"...

Who can remember these two top of the range bicycles.

They did a brand new version of the Chopper not long ago. My original was a Purple MK2 with the little rack on the back. What's a Shiny Shopper Bob?

So would I be correct in saying that you never ever break the speed limit when you go out on your Ducati Garry? Or how about this, what is so wrong about doing 20 mph on an Ebike that has been tweaked compared with say doing 90 mph on the motorway in your car or on your Ducati, that's deemed...

    Destricted Kalkhoff Sahel i360?

Hmm a pedal cycle doing about 20 mph with a bit of electric motor help, or a motorbike that'll do 200 mph and 0 to 100 mph in about 3 seconds, what sort of person makes such a comparison?

Will the Bosch mod work on these? one pulse for every second revolution, so double the assist speed.

Will it come out through the valve hole?

We are family all of my sisters and me-but are we???

Far too much thinking going on in this thread for me. Motorhome drivers are the same for waving. One day I was that focussed on an approaching van I nearly ran into the back of a car that suddenly wanted to turn right. I stopped thinking about the whole business after that.

If I had a pound for

Thank you. Yes I'm aware that there are bikes like that, the consensus seems to be that they're not worth having. I've never seen any figures on how much power they put back in, it can't be much.

Hey I've told you already... stop it :p I had the same conversation yesterday with a friend who I'd already explained that one to them, you're not related are you?

    Kudos Road Shows-Post Mortem

Same here, a great spot. Another option for a warm summers day would be Millers Dale station on the Monsal Trail. It's a bit busier than the Manifold Trail at the moment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPPSzw-gYrg

We are family all of my sisters and me-but are we???

I found one of the guys I passed up a steep hill via Strava, him and his mate gave me a bit of negative banter as I passed them. They were just in the middle knocking off a 100 mile ride. I don't have a smart phone, but may get a Garmin and have a bit of fun getting some KOM's :D

    KTM Macina Cross going cheap.

I thought I'd try a ride on the Sport setting which is the 2nd highest setting, to see if I could extend the range. I wasn't feeling too good so thought I'd ease off a bit and take in the scenery. As usual for this area it was a hilly one, well the battery called time at just under 16 miles...

    NuVinci CVT (Automatic Gears) Hub

Briefly, I think I'll take back the comment about the bosch not being suitable, it sounds like you will be able to rise to the occasion when needed, which is really only on the steeper hills. I'm just setting off, you're only 30 miles away, Tea and battery charge and I'll be back home for 9.30...

    NuVinci CVT (Automatic Gears) Hub

I'd be tempted to buy a NuVinci given that you've got used to that sort of system on your Burgman, and the way the cross trainer adjusts automatically too.

Thanks for the very comprehensive reply Jim. Stu is fine by me. I won't comment on every point if you don't mind, I'm limited in both physical and mental capacity due to illness. Now to the bikes, in all honestly I believe that you won't feel like pedalling above the assisted limit on the...
