Has anyone tried to register an S-class in the UK?

I think they use the ball on the bikes. And roll a cylinder down the side.Your allowed to sit on the bike with feet on footrests/pedals,so you can stop the cylinder catching on pedals with your foot.

I can't see the s class ever been made legal in UK.How can you have a 24/28mph bike with only a cycle helmet when you have to wear a motorcycle helmet on a 16 mph L1e-A. Sent from my D101 using Tapatalk

The tyres need to be e/dot marked speed rated. Can you post a link or a photo of the e mark and speed rating.I will buy some if they are.Ball ends for the leavers can be made with chemical metal/ jb weld.

Yep 2 mirrors needed for L1e-b,don't think there's there is a set size for the lights, just dip and main beam .Must have indicators. In the photo of the petrol L1e -a the tester wanted piping on the mudguards.I think if you can get the mudguards close enough to the wheel no piping needed.

All this can be put on any bicycle. The problem is just the tyres for a 26"/700cc etc.If you use a 20" wheels you can get motorcycle tyres. Sent from my D101 using Tapatalk

Has anyone tried to register an S-class in the UK?

I keep saying tamper proof.I can't find that in the MSVA manual now.I'm sure that I read that some where. I even had a plan how to make my display tamper Proof. You got to laugh at the 16 mph, can't find any info on 10% extra. And I thought the speedometer had to be tested to be within 5%...

I have thought this about this.No big opposition against the government over the throttle ban.Not enough of us I suppose.More chance of getting a tyre manufacture to make speed rated bicycle tyres.

I think a tamper proof speedometer will be part of the 2018 type approval. It is part of the L1e-a MSVA at present. Sent from my D101 using Tapatalk

As Dave said its all about sharp edges and position and size of lights mirrors etc.look at the rear number plate and mudgaurds on this L1e-a he has had to put rubber tube on the edges. All at the testers desecration.
