Wisper 705 Torque or Raleigh Motus step thru with hub gears.

It's a road commuter and cycle path bike, so really doesn't need any more suspension than the comfy saddle and good sized tyres it came with. I can ride it quite comfortably at 6'4", and so can my Wife at 5'6". It's got a nice feel and easy riding style. But heck I'm old, and I come from a...

Wisper 705 Torque or Raleigh Motus step thru with hub gears.

We've got a 705SE that's about eight years old now. It's been faultless and remains a cracking bike. I can't comment on the Motus, but I doubt very much you'll be disappointed with the 705 Torque. Gaz

Hi , Im Radhwan, i enjoy cycling.

Hello Radhwan :) Commuter here too, although a whopping 3.75 or 4 miles according to which way I go. Still enjoy it though, and do just under an hour in my lunch break. Gaz

Question about Walk Assist on Shimano Steps

E6010 here and as others have already said, the walk assist is rubbish. Stick it in High, be in the right gear, and you'll pull away fine though. Gaz

    Where Do You Live V2.0

I used to play in Beauport Park as a nipper. There's an interesting and little known monument to Lady Montgomerie in there. When I was a youngster it was in the middle of a wood, well away from the public eye. I've just looked it up and there's a photo of an Audi parked right in front of it...

    Another St Leonardite

Hello Keith :) From just along the coast. I grew up in St Leonards and worked there until four years ago. Still have family up on The Green and warmer weather rides often take me past the pier and along to the Old Town. Gaz

Mine's obviously become loose and pliable over the passage of time, with perhaps a marginal difference in rim circumference

Fortunately I had a nearly new Schwalbe MP sitting in the wings. This one lasted around 2700 miles, give or take. Just swapped it, took all of five minutes, and if I can do it with one hand, I really don't know why people struggle so much with fitting MP's. Gaz
