    RIP Kryptonite Lock

My not so old faithful Kryptonite cable lock has given up the ghost. The key was a little stiff last night, so I gave it a good spraying and left it soaking overnight in silicon lubricant. Come this morning, pleased with my previous night's efforts, the blooming thing wouldn't lock up at all...

    Whyte Coniston Ladies-Shimano Steps System.

I have a gents Whyte Coniston, with the STEPS E6010. I've had to ride it a couple of miles without power. I wouldn't choose to again. It's not the resistance, it's the weight, and you certainly know you're pedalling a heavy bike. The Whyte has been my first e-bike and I've done just over...

Report: Cycling benefits for the elderly

Flecc, you're probably on the NHS Management's gold card list, and the NHS practitioner's blacklist for depriving the new cohorts of someone to practice on! Best o'luck with the refund. If you don't get it can I mention your credit rating if I ever need serious treatment? Pretty please :oops...

eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

Mrs Gaz comes from Uckfield, and my son lives there now. Possibly Merrydown cider from just down the road in Horam? Merrydown's no longer there - it's now a housing estate :( Gaz

Hello from a Hampshire Classic Car Enthusiast

Hello SM :) Gravitating is fine, but the only sure way is to try a good few e-bikes out. It's the only way to know for sure. Try a few that you don't think are for you too, as there will be some surprises in amongst them. I had my heart set on a particular model and when I had my first go on...

I know that sign! :D Mrs Gaz and I were up at Piglets just the other day - went up there to see the commemorative stone. It was muddy, murky and misty. Almost eerily quiet. Drove through the ford too, which was quite deep. Gaz

A random thread for things too unimportant for their own thread...

My first motorised transport was a Honda Camino moped. It's registration number was THC 1S. Wish I'd kept it - probably worth a bong [bomb:D] now! :( Gaz

    Rear racks

I'm considering putting a rack over my rear wheel on the Coniston. I already have a pair of panniers. I quite like the idea of one that includes a spring loaded rat trap on top. But there's so many to choose from that I really haven't a clue. Can anyone offer any aftermarket recommendations...
