Shimano Hydraulic brake with Switch £75

Pressure switch for all MAGURA rim and disc brakes. My bold text. These used to be about 40€ + postage a couple of years ago IIRC which is one of the reasons I didn't get one then. And they were as rare as hens teeth - now they are at bike discount...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

"Among measures affected was 2.5 billion euros for bolstering EU frontier controls to deal with the migrant crisis in the Mediterranean and 1.4 billion euros to tackle the "root causes" of migration in poor nations -- a policy Britain strongly backs. Further spending on youth employment...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

How many times do we have to say "there is no exit fee"? The UK promised money. That is due even if you leave. End of story. There is no "bill" or "exit fee" pure tabloid invention.

    Diy solderless 18650 battery kit.

I am trying to figure out 4P10S in a triangle shape. 3P10S is easy... Maybe 10 guage wires for the connection will do?

World record attempt? Not exactly a bicycle but

I can hear your kids screaming from here "mum give me more food!" As they try to put on more weight than their siblings...

What are you using for security and luggage?

http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/posts/359911/ Backpacks make me sweat, even on a pedelec. Usually I put mine in a pannier... I use cheap panniers no one would want to steal and leave them on the bike. I don't like the idea of a seat post rack unless it has a second attachment point.

    Diy solderless 18650 battery kit.

Nkon also has good press. Delivery from the Netherlands to here is quite fast... 174€ for 40 GAs plus the kit plus a bit of ply and glass makes for an economical 12.6 Ah battery (90% of nominative). The 35E is a bit cheaper, having had a good run with Samsung I may pinch pennies and stick with...

I need to carry it upstairs!!!!

That is the easiest way to do things: get a new bike that you like which has a battery that is easy to remove. Leave the bike locked up downstairs.

Thoughts on using high intensity flashing red light during day

I do drive her car from time to time. As a driver flashing white lights really annoy me, they are often blinding. Red rear isn't so bad. As a "cyclist" behind the wheel I am reasonably bike aware so a good strong non flashing light on both ends is what I prefer to see. High vis vest at night is...

BBS02 Final Drive Plastic Cover (7 Hole) from UK

I really prefer buying from EU based companies. For the moment that still includes UK companies but, when the axe falls, I will stop... The reason? Consumer protection and EU wide product guarantees. Simples.

    Diy solderless 18650 battery kit.

How much would postage on one kit to France cost (before rates to the EU go up... :D )? If it is too much hassle I will order direct from them. I am going to disassemble my bottle battery and put it in the tiny frame triangle in a custom box, experimenting with knackered cells first. Once it is...

what milage life from 10.4ah for work related all year round users

2 years and about 4000 km here for my 10.4 Ah Samsung celled battery. The hills (regular 4 km long steepish climbs drawing full Amps) are not good for life span. Using one of the Lunacycle chargers and only charging to 41.5 V would maybe have helped some too?

BBS02 Final Drive Plastic Cover (7 Hole) from UK

I know where you can get one but not in the UK (hint, it is in the EU) and it has an improved seal.

    Greenway Cross City

I paid 9.98€ for my Trutativ 42 tooth (bike discount) and 8.95 for the Shimano 32 tooth (local sports store), both are steel versions. The expensive bit was the precialps 104 BCD BBS0x spider but it did come in an economy stamped envelope because it is so small and light...

Total cost of an ebike, around 45p a mile?

My first bike came from an attic, I had to change the tyres and tubes before riding it, and yes... lubricate the chain. My second bike came from a skip, some of the better parts were moved to the first bike like the rear brake, derailleur and crankset. I know the first one was over 8 years old...
