Title.
What do you use to keep your expensive machine secure? Locks/alarms etc.
And could anyone recommend a good set of panniers and a backpack. Maybe a seat post mounted rack as well.
Thanks

Backpacks make me sweat, even on a pedelec. Usually I put mine in a pannier... I use cheap panniers no one would want to steal and leave them on the bike.

I don't like the idea of a seat post rack unless it has a second attachment point.

... Halfords have cheap panniers at 25euro , these clip on to some carriers and will carry small amounts of luggage ... 4 litres milk etc . Backpacks are a sad idea ... Using a thrumpthinskinism.

I use a pair of 38 litre Cordo Tarpa Plus panniers on my Marin.
They hold 64Ah of batteries that take up about a third of the space leaving lots for tools, spares, jacket and shopping.

On my Cannondale I use an EM3EV triangle bag that hold 16Ah and an Additive V2 bag that hold another48Ah if needed.
Also a small triangle bag containing all my tools, spare chain and Co2 canisters.

I didnt even know CO2 canisters existed. Much nicer than a cheap pump which in my experience always seem to break. Where do you buy them from and how many tyres would one can fill?
