    More accurate battery charging indicator

You can buy this charger for $295. You could also buy a new battery for about the same price! This charger won't balance your battery cells, it just charges them to the voltage you specify. Somewhere in the operating manual it says you must charge to 100% from time to time to balance the cells...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

From a documentary on arte last night: HSBC and China don't want brexit but they can't say it out loud, the UK in the EU is China's Trojan horse to get access to a market of over 500 million shoppers and HSBC is their bank. The UK in the EU got China access to the latest French nuclear power...

    L1e-A testing requirements

Looking at French rules for L1e-A it says (my translation and bold text): "power over 250 W or speed over 25 km/h" it will be considered a moped so need to use motorbike helmet and gloves, be registered and have a number plate. So that just about puts us at the same level as Northern...

    Greenedge CS2 battery issue

I guess you could wear down a small 9Ah battery in a year and a half, depends on the cells inside. Using my 10.4 Ah Samsung 26F battery with the GSM was too much for it. It still works but like yours has very serious sag. And that was within days of using it with that motor.

    Derailleur with 65 mm chainline

Thanks for the offer I'll keep it in mind. For the moment I am forging ahead on building a CF spacer for the braze on adaptor which is on its way from China (Taiwan) for 7€. The big surprise so far is the price of a Sora flat bar 2x9 trigger shifter  In my reading earlier there was talk...

    Derailleur with 65 mm chainline

I don't think you can cross chain on a trike. There is 61 cm between the idler pulley and the rear mech and that is invariable. Chain length is a problem I haven't sorted but I think I could eventually get that right - I want to get my seat position right and the motor in before correcting that.
